1. Now sold pending payment, thanks Bob! Hello, Up for sale or trade is my 1965 Hofner Club Bass 500/2. Pot codes 405 and 425. The usual ultra-lightweight at 2.3kg. The bass has aged nicely and feels just right. It is currently strung with a set of well broken-in Thomastik flatwounds, and needless to say, that thumpy tone is right there. No issues with playability, neck is straight and there are no cracks to be seen anywhere. The pickguard and one volume control's top are missing. The strap pin screw at the bridge looks non-original to me, because it doesn't have the same amount of tarnish as the rest of the assembly. A fitting gig bag is included. The bass is located in Austria, but I have plenty of experience with shipping internationally. Insured shipment to the UK with GLS is 22.50£ / 26.90€. This lovely bass is simply too different from my Precisions, and I have too many basses anyway. Sale price: [s]625£ / 750€[/s] [s]607£ / 725€[/s] Final price drop: 595£ / 700€ Trades:

Precision bass (Fender or old Squier/Tokai etc, rosewood fingerboard with vintage 7.xx radius, weighing no more than 4kg)
Markbass F1/F500 amp
Barefaced Midget cabinet
Markbass New York 121 cabinet

 2.
How about a Blackstar HT Dual?
Obviously no bass sound samples on the net, so I would need some to see if it does its job better than my Tube Factor.
 3.
I have a Markbass Distorsore and am looking for a fulltone. Is it of interest for you? Here are some pics: http://picasaweb.google.com/10657284609143...235471357890786 Edit: we could trade with P&P supported by each. I'm in Portugal.
Hmm, the sound samples on the net do nothing for me, but perhaps you could send me some more convincing ones? Also, is the power supply included, because this unit seems to draw a lot of current...
 4. Hi, I [s]want to trade[/s] traded my

Fulltone Bassdrive 2 Mosfet version
Rodenberg GAS 728B Bass Booster/Overdrive
Thanks, all sorted now.
 5. Interested in trading for a Fulltone Bassdrive 2 Mosfet or a Rodenberg Gas 728B Booster/Overdrive?
 6. Interested in my 1980 Aria Pro II SB-1000?
 7. Do you know by chance whether this would fit a 51 P bass reissue?
 8. I got the soundfile too:
 9.
That is absolutely bloody wonderful - so many great features that it's hard to know where to start. I'm torn between the headstock stained with Magic Marker [...]
No, no, no! You got it all wrong! Those are Vermilion wings on the headstock...
 10.
Don't know what the question in German at the bottom means, but hopefully it translates as "are you having a laugh?"
No! It roughly translates to: This is my first go on building a fretless copy. It is playable, but is built rather amateurishly. It is very leightweight (body is made of plywood and hollow). The neck is made of leightweight wood too and has markers instead of frets. It sports fretless Jazzbass strings. The strings are well preserved. The bridge parts are made of wood. Also nice as a decorative element on your wall. Also great is the posted question and answer: Q: I'd like to know whether there are any impediments concerning playability. Is the neck straight? What's the scale lenght? Could you send me a sound file? A: Hello, with 'playable' I meant that you can create sounds, but they don't sound good and the playability is mediocre. The neck is not straight, has bumps and is coarsely done. So the bass has limited playability and is meant as a decorative piece. If you send me your mail address, I can send you a sound sample.
 11. This is too good to be true eBay Link (scroll down for hilarious pictures)
 12. I'm interested in the Crowther. I have For filtered funkyness: MSD Earth Quake Mk 2 Wah Pedal (best wah for bass there is, but seems that wah is not my thing) For fuzziness: Head FX Saegewerk (boutique Univox Super Fuzz clone) I'll throw in a Digitech Bass Synth Wah for decent octaviness :-) Interested? Cheers, Christian
 13.
Which means no interest from your side, right?
Nope, sorry.
 14.
I checked that and it is about 60mm distance area, depending on string and its bridge setup.
Blast! That's about 1 cm closer to the bridge than on my 60's-spacing Jazz. Thanks for your fast responses anyway.
 15. That would be nice. For simplicity, what is the average distance from the point where the string hits the bridge saddle to the pu's middle axis?
 16. Is the J pickup in the 60's position?
 17. Hello, Up for grabs is my Viva Analog 360+ Acoustic Preamp clone. This unit was built by JC Maillet himself in early 2009 (see his homepage, he was so kind as to take a photo of my unit, which I attached). This is the full package including the fuzz circuit. I had a custom power supply made for it (real deal, no switching), which honestly delivers its power to ensure noise-free operation. It is of course included in the deal. The unit has only seen spare usage in my home studio and no live gigs whatsoever. It produces no noise at all and can deliver some serious bottom end without getting boomy. Withdrawn for now. Here is the infamous audio demo: . P bass (amp set flat) and fretless J (mid boost). Cheers, Christian
 18. Judging from the pictures, does this have a 7.5" vintage radius neck?
