1. Now obsolete, thanks.
2. You made me do it again. Listen to the demo at http://soundcloud.com/7enderhead/yamaha-fretless-demo
3. Price drop bump. Don't make me record a demo for this one, you will surely regret
4.
This is a BB1000s isn't it?
Surely is, I'm just too stupid to correctly read what is printed on the headstock Corrected original post.
5. Demoed at http://soundcloud.com/7enderhead/yamaha-fretless-demo Yamaha BB1000S, neckthrough with nicely done fretless conversion, and she really sings. A photo gallery can be found at http://s111.photobuc...derhead/Yamaha/, documenting her condition. I'm looking for a sale for around [s]£500[/s] £475 ONO (plus £24 tracked shipment with GLS in a protective case).
6. How about my Warwick Corvette Double Buck ($$) in blue?
7. This beauty is still available, folks.
8. Is this a factory fretless, or has it been converted?
9.
is that yellow or faded white/cream?
It is definitely yellow, but interestingly, my camera chooses to make it look more white-ish when photographed without flash. This pictures the colour better:
10.
Now that is rather fetching, any trades?
I am really trying to lower the bass count in the house, but hit me with WHY, perhaps I can be tempted
11. Now traded, thanks Stephan Gibson SG Standard Bass in Canary Yellow (which is a b*&#% to photograph ) I got this one in a trade, but I'm really trying to downsize the, ahem, collection. No issues, clean frets, very minor scuffing and (interestingly) some screws show a bit of rust. See pictures for details. OHSC included. I would prefer a straight sale for £550 (ono). Shipment from Austria with GLS to the UK is about £24. My feedback thread is here. Image gallery to be found here. The bass's colour is rather hard to capture, the photos with flash do it more justice.
12. Traded my 51 Fender for his Warwick Corvette, smooth and fast deal, great communication!
13. So that you know what kind of guy I am

16. Hello, Up for grabs is my 1980 Intersound IVP preamp. It features a very nice tube emulation channel, along with 4 semi-parametric mid controls. It has a problem with the channel switching mechanism, so it's the tube channel only (which can be made to sound like the clean channel if using lower gain settings). The switching is done electronically, so it might be a dried up capacitor or the like. One potentiometer knob is missing, and, as seems to be the case with these amps, the caps for the frequency controls are long gone. The pots themselves are reasonably okay for an amp of this age, they are not pristine, but they never gave me any trouble. This used to be the preamp in my big rig for many years. The sound can be fine-tuned with the gain control, from clean to slightly warm to woolly to overdriven. The sound demo in my Warmoth 54 Precision Gold Sparkle sales thread has been recorded with this amp. The controls were all set flat, with some added warmth using a slightly higher gain setting. I'd like 130£/150€ for this amp (plus a few bucks for p&p, it will be shipped from Austria). Trade-wise, I'm interested in high-quality compressors. More pictures to be found in this gallery.
17. I have used BEAD tuning on my 51 P reissue for years. I did not even bother to use a five string set, it was a regular Thomstik flatwound 4 string set. Thick strings don't do it for me. The action wasn't set extremely high, and the Thomastiks don't have a lot of tension anyway. It's all a matter of getting used to the lower tension, IMHO. These days, I play DGCF on all of my basses (standard strings), since I rarely used anything below the D.
