2.
Haha awesome soundclip, lovely precision tone!
Yep, the Fender flats nail that sound exactly. More split-coily than I would have expected.
Cool accent too!
Accent? Which accent? Da gibt es keinen Akzent, mein Herr!

 4. A belated bump, but there is now an audio demo available (which I created for a prospective buyer). Just for the fun of it.
 5.
BUMP. Had a couple offers of trades, and have removed this off gumtree after being approached by an apparently notorious scammer and nearly falling for it, had I not googled his email address...... Still available, will negotiate on trades - its a great instrument!!
PM'd

 9.
Well, around £500 is the going price on eBay. Personally, prefer this second generation configuration ('78-'80), but it's not as popular as the third and fourth generations ('81-'87). The pre-production and first generation versions ('76-'77) usually attract a small premium though. A very small point against this example would be the non-original strap pins.
Well, eBay is eBay... I could sell lots of my gear there for 'premium' prices. But believe me, I'm not going to make any profit on this bass (as on any other piece of kit I have ever sold). Fair enough to point out the strap pins. The base came to me fitted with nasty Schallers, which I replaced immediately. I will adapt my initial post.
 10.
Price looks fine to me,
Good to hear.
it's just not a good time to sell.
What, with Christmas approaching and everything? No, I know, damn the damned crisis...
 11. If my suggested price seems to be over the top, just get in contact. Nothing that cannot be bargained about.

 13. Hi, Up for grabs is the workhorse of my once omnipotent bass tower (and since there were no world tours scheduled, it didn't have much work to do, anyway). 14.
no one does gold '51 style covers, only chrome ones. That's why I added a later style gold bridge cover
I think I saw gold 50's style covers once on the internet - some sort of specialized American company. Unfortunately, I don't remember which.
 15. First trade offers came in, but the pedal is still available. Keep hitting me...
 16. Now sorted, thanks! Hi, I received this in a trade, but unfortunately it doesn't suit my style. It's in perfect technical condition, the only thing is that the rubber feet at the bottom are missing (but I can throw in some from my collection if necessary). I will trade this one for another overdrive/distortion/fuzz, a nice flanger or an auto-wah (doesn't need to be bass-specific, since I can crossover/mix a guitar effect signal). Units which I don't consider (because I already own/owned or don't like them): Fulltone Bassdrive, Hughes and Kettner Tube Factor, Rodenberg Bass 728B, Ashdown Lomenzo, Boss ODB3, EBS ValveDrive, AnalogMan Sun Face, Digitech BSW, Jacques TubeBlower, EBS MetalDrive. 17. Ladies and Gentlemen, A final price drop has been conducted.
 18.
I think this is a great little toy, brilliant to look at and my kinda sound too.
One could say that it's a toy based on its size and weight, but tone-wise it really teaches the big guys some new tricks (and certainly sounds bigger than most of 'em).
