1. Here is the photo of the control cavity plate's missing piece. Looks like a previous owner was in a hurry to get to the battery compartement However, if you care, these parts can be easily sourced from Warwick.
 2.
WOW I love the Proline serie. Is that a maple body bass?
Any true Warwick gurus please correct me if I'm wrong, but to my best knowledge it's the unbeaten maple body, ovangkol neck and a wenge fretboard combination.
 3.

Withdrawn for now. 5.
As I as recording the bass for Sheldon at Dingwall, my wife decided (unbeknown to me) to dry her hair in the next room. The buzzing is the electrical inteference from her hairdryer! When I finish in the studio today (using my Duesnberg today) I'll re-record the bass. My wife's going to the gym tonight!
No device known to man can eliminate hairdryer buzz!
 6. What's with the buzzing in the recording?

 8. Analogman Sunface Fuzz Pedal in pristine condition with the following extra options:

NKT-275 Highgain Transistors
Sundial Knob (Transistor Bias)
On/Off Fuzz Pot (Power off without having to disconnect the input cable)
Power Jack for external DC Power Supply
For a full-size picture slideshow please visit the following link: http://s111.photobuc...mview=slideshow There are two strips of 3M Dual Lock (SJ354D) applied to the bottom. The original rubber feet have never been applied and are contained in the package. I'm looking for £139 shipped to the UK.
 9. In the mid-Eighties, Dean Markley tried to get into the amplification business. Their first series of products was built in the USA and had good reputation, but rather quickly disappeared due to the high price tag. Here we have the bass preamp from around 1985/86. It sports two channels, of which in the second you can activate a valve stage. The second channel therefore has a separate master volume to be able to drive the valve without excess volume. Both channels have their own 5-band equalizer. The preamp has bi-amping capabilities with selectable crossover frequency (from 150 to 1200 Hz). The serial effects loop has gain trimmers for both send and return signal. Channel switching can and effects switching has to be done by foot switches. This is a well-equipped pre, and its tones speak with authority. The solid state channel is clear, crisp, but without any unpleasant clinically 'cool' aspects. With the valve engaged, you can obtain everything from slight grizzle to compressing crazyness. I always used the amp without any adjustments to the EQ (which for me is a good if not necessary sign in an amp), but if you choose to use it, the frequencies have been wisely chosen to avoid unmusical outcomes. I have checked every function on the amp, and everything works just fine. The pots have this high-quality 'creamy' touch and perform noiseless. I would give it 9 out of 10 points, because of some superficial scratches and the missing rubber feet (which would get in the way when mounting it in a 2 unit rack anyway). How about £199 including tracked shipment with GLS to the UK? Trade-wise I would look for basses only, since amp-wise I'm all settled (and I don't seem to use effects anymore). 10. Converted to true stereo outputs (one for each pickup), 6 resp. 4 position tone selector switch (for bridge / neck pickup). I'm after 350€ / 300£ for this one. Hit me with any trade options. The bass could be combined with the Thinline Telecaster for higher value trades (http://basschat.co.u...ty-dog-pickups/) Pictures here: https://picasaweb.go...feat=directlink
 11. No broad-neck Precision lovers? Also interested in a partial trade for an Epiphone Jack Casady.
 12. Burny by Fernandes Les Paul. Bridge pickup was changed to the legendary Seymor Duncan SH-5, which greatly improves the guitar's already nice sound. Sustainer circuit with two modes (fundamental or 5th). Hardware was upgraded to gold (original pickup and hardware included). Very good build quality on this one (off-white patches are due to jpeg compression only, the finish is very white) and iconic sounds, but I'm just not the Les Paul type. Included is a nicely fitting hard case by Rockcase. Looking for £450 Shipment will be with GLS from Austria, costing £ 21 to the UK. 13. Thanks for all the kind comments and for sharing the more logical date format with us Continental Europeans.
 14. Now traded, thanks Phil. Up for sale (possibly trade) is my 1987 Fender Vintage Reissue '62 Precision. The serial number is V023852, and the neck date is '1-6-87'. The white Nitro finish has aged into what in German would be called 'horse tooth yellow'. This nice colour is somewhat hard to photograph, but the picture gallery should give you an idea since it contains photos taken under different lighting conditions. The bass is currently fitted with a John East P-Retro circuit, which in my opinion nicely complements the bass's sonic properties. Even with the P-Retro fitted, it weighs in at only 3.9 kg. Very lightweight and resonant. The original wiring harness is included too. If wanted, I could uninstall the active circuit. Also included is an 'ashtray' pickup cover and the slightly battered (only on the outside) but fully functional (even the key works on the locks) tweed case. The bass has some minor issues, all concerning the finish, the biggest of which is to be found at the back of the headstock where the previous owner (or one of them damned music stores from the Eighties) obviously put a sticker which ate into the finish. The only reason I would want to let go of this instrument is that the neck measures 44 millimeters at the nut (so it's 'wide but shallow'), and - sporting very small hands - I find the change from my other basses somewhat disorienting. Photos can be found in this gallery: http://s111.photobuc...mview=slideshow Please feel free to shamelessly take advantage of the Euro's ever-decreasing value to secure this nice bass at the following prices: 1699 € / currently ~1339 £ (with the P-Retro) 1599 € / currently ~1259 £ (without the P-Retro) Prices include tracked shipping to Europe with GLS from Austria. Don't be shy to hit me with your offers. If you want to get rid of a lightweight Precision in similar quality (nut width around 42mm) or your good-quality EUB, then I'd be interested in a trade. Anything Rickenbacker is also more than welcome. Partial trade involving a Epiphone Jack Casady would be ok, too.
 15.
I know what you mean. Back in May, when I wanted to sell/trade my 1-year old American Deluxe P-bass, a guy offered me this bass as a trade with some extra cash his way. Your price is an excellent one, for the bass you're selling. Edit: I've seen the pics. This is a steal!
These are good solid Japanese Fenders with a few specials like the finish and the pickguard, but realistically one should not want more than a new American Fender would cost (I've seen such 'offers'). So, regarding the price, I hope someone will recognize the bargain opportunity here
 16.
Free bump for a nice bass and "grüssle nach Österreich"
Thank you, and "Liebe Grüße zurück ins schöne Fullerton" But this is no useless bump, neck measurements added.
