  1. Justified and Ancient - KLF (link - JAMM - Justified Ancients of MuMu) Or Doctorin' the Tardis - JAMS aka The Timelords
  2. Room a Thousand Years Wide - Soundgarden
  3. Harder Than You Think - Public Enemy (Theme tune to The Last Leg)
  4. Another Ashdown owner recommending Roqsolid. I got the cheapest, unlined cover for my amp. Does the job.
  5. Seen a couple of episodes, and it's quite refreshing and actually funny.
  6. I remember this thread! The AMP is still going strong, as is the HD500x (might have played with settings and the like over the years, but it still sounds great). Plug the HD into the Effects Return, and bypass the amp's pre-amp. Do not regret going for a bog standard bass combo in any way over an FRFR, as I know it definitely can handle the bass frequencies, and has more than enough power for any rehearsal / gig situation (it's been gigged a number of times).
  7. Have you heard Cog yet? Not quite as "heavy" as Karnivool et al, but a rather good band, well worth a listen. Another Aussie band.
  8. No SWANS fans then? Or Neurosis. Or Autopsy. Etc.
  9. Yup. StingRay's. Owned 2. First was was a real joy to play, it just sounded awful. The second looked amazing, but sounded worse than the first. Bizarrely, an Aria Pro II SB1000. Used to gaze at them in awe in the 80's, had a few of the other SB range, but when I finally gor my hands on an SB1000, it was a massive disappointment soundwise. Beautiful to play.
  10. Ric's are known as being the Harley's of the bass world.
  11. All I Want for Christmas is a Dukla Prague Away Kit - Half Man Half Biscuit
  12. Is this a Chinese Medium Scale?
