1. As bids have been made on the auction I will let it run to its conclusion. Thanks
Hello, Are you still looking for £120 pickup (im in Bishops Stortford) or are you letting it run on e-bay? Many Thanks Adrian
2. Purchased Alan's EBS multicomp pedal, well pleased, delivered quickly and very easy to deal with. Highly recommended.
3. Thanks Tom, It is a great looking bass, I am hoping that the Jive Bass sells first so I can keep hold of this one. My understanding is that the Ray34 is made in Indonesia rather than the US like a Stingray. I am sure there are other differences but I do not know for sure, better throw that question open to the wider community. Thanks Mike
That looks stunning Mike. What's the difference next to a stingray? Have a bump.
4. Now on EBAY 99p no reserve
5. I am looking to move on my Ray34, it has limited home use only, comes with the gig bag and the original hanging tags. Condition is near mint, one very small mark on the side of the headstock which is hardly noticeable, otherwise not a mark on it, still has the pickgard protective plastic cover and the stars and stripes inspection sticker. £380 delivered. Thanks Mike
6. Its a great looking bass and this is a fine example, having only had home use it is almost as new condition. I own a couple of old SGC Nanyo basses and wanted to try one of the newer Bass Collection branded basses so I bought this, unfortunately this is a totally different bass to its predecessors in terms of size and weight, it is more in line with a standard jazz. Details on the bass can be found here I am looking for £120 pickup from Ipswich or Stowmarket or £140 including delivery. 7. It is possible to get valid insurance if the bass is in a hard case though isn't it?
8. Ian purchased my SGC Nanyo Bass Collection Bass SB110. He was a pleasure to deal with through out, quick responses to any e-mails, prompt payment and a nice follow up message to let me know how he is getting on with the bass. Happy to buy from/sell to again. Cheers
9.
Yep that's spot on.
Cheers iCastle, will give that a try tonight.
10. I found this link on talkbass, might be useful?
11. I once received a bass guitar via CityLink that was shipped in its padded gig bag with no extra packaging and there was no damage at all. To get round this issue it might be worth buyers shipping a hard case to the seller so that the bass can be shipped in a hardcase and at least be correctly insured.
12.
Why would you? Unless you're talking double-boxing and a sh*t-load of bubblewrap instead, why would you? Or is this just a fr'instance?
I know what you are saying but its a case of having too if the guitar has no hardcase, but I do make up for it with shedloads of cardboard, bubble wrap and parcel tape.
13. I have been the happy owner of a Jack Casady bass for a good few weeks now and I would really like the action lowered on it. The bass a three point bridge and dont know whether to deal with the action myself, or not, looks awkward? If the general consensus is that the work may be beyond me, can anybody recommend a good Luthier in Suffolk, North Essex to do the work?
14.
I always use Interparcel
I must admit that I have had no problems with couriers so far, just always felt that I would prefer the added security of valid insurance, even if they try and make you jump through hoops to get it!
15. I usually send by CityLink or Parcelforce and have had no problems thus far. However I always pay for insurance despite the fact the basses wouldnt be covered when not sent in a hardcase! I thought I would look to see what insurance is offered for guitars if not sent in a hardcase, first company I spoke to was Parcel2Go and was told that they cannot accept a guitar for delivery if it is not in a hardcase. Can anybody reccommend a courier that will insure a guitar when not in a hardcase?
16. I am selling my "spare" SB110 in brown with PJ pick-up configuration, I have one which I use all of the time, so this never gets a look in. This is an active bass. It is in very good condition for its age, just a couple of nicks, I have tried to show condition in the pictures attached to this posting. I would prefer local pick-up from Ipswich or Stowmarket at £130, if you are interested and want it delivered I would have to charge £20 to cover delivery. Payment via Banktransfer or personal paypal payment, thanks. NOW SOLD
17. The Captain purchased my ZOOM H1 recorder just before easter, very easy to deal with would have no hesitation in working with him again. Thanks
18.
It must have been. I want one.
Slient Fly has one for sale on this site, put one of his own preamps in.
