Hello again, i have been a member for 10 years. I stopped learning when i had a few surgeries on my shoulder back in 09 . Well for christmas the Missus bought me an Ibanez SR300EL bass and told me to start learning again . My bass i had back then got blagged by one of the sprogs and they learned to play as well in the meantime
gonna put mine in the loft then leave the house and contents to my nephew just so he can sell it legitamately on ebay and state he found it in his late uncles loft
a quick tech question for anyone who may know
to practice making an amp i have purchased the vellermann 200w power amp kit and i am gonna use it on the wifes electric piano to save her plugging it into my hifi. has anyone built one of these before. going by the plans i can add a volume control to the input and adjust the gain from an onboard pot, but are there any other mods that can be done like adding a treble control and such like????
have any of you got a recommendation for a set of plans to build a solid state bass amp. i want to have a go making one for a bit of fun as it will make a change from building lighting control circuits for the pikeys and their fairground rides
cheers
pob
dang what a bargain and theres all those muppets buying genuine stuff when u can buy a genuine imitation one for peanuts
i have let my brother know he was looking for a bass, well he isnt my favorite brother
it is actually a nice looking bass all joking aside
is the jack plug mounted differently to most (i noticed in the guitar shop you had to pull the plug down to remove it ) i suppose it stops unwarranted noise cessation when you tread on the cable
thanks for the samples they helped me along today
