1. I have always had good service from www.iMuso.co.uk, always happy to pricematch and delivered promptly.
 2.
No Worries. I should really sell, rather than swap, too!
Thanks for the interest Gavin
 3.
Swap for a black Fender Jaguar? Regards Gavin
Thanks for the offer Gavin, very tempted, but ideally looking for a sale.
 4. Of course, makes sense, I didnt realise the Paypal "protection" existed outside of eBay.
I dunno if it's banned but it's a bad idea because if you pay get nothing back or get a squier instead of the '51 fender you paid for as far as ebay goes yer fooked. You have no protection whats so ever. Oh and broke Paypals T&Cs . So if Mr Scammeroo fecks off with your cash you can do nothing bar involve the plod who will probably laugh. I think a few folk had hassles after someone replied to wanted adds and "Sold" them things which were paid for with the gift function
5.
I did mean it's banned on this forum, I read it somewhere last month or so (I've had a search but can't for the life of me remember where). Of course paypal don't want to lose your fees, but equally you don't want to lose your money when you've just agreed a deal on a forum, and BC aren't exactly rolling in it and able to reimburse you like eBay are. This is why it's banned on here, I'm aware that it goes on, but any buyer should be wary of a seller asking him to do this - I have done it (only as a buyer not as a seller) before I read the post about it on here, but will refuse to do so in future.
Why have we banned it, surely its up to Paypal to enforce not this forum? Not having a go, just interested as to why.
 6.
It's not about questioning someone's intelligence, but I would always discuss the packaging. Mostly things have gone well for me, but I've had a couple of items that weren't well packaged, so I would double check that they are on the same page as you. Also, I would always try to meet up.
I bought a bass from somebody on eBay with good feedback, they dispatched it in a old tatty padded gig bag with a few polystrene pieces and nothing else. The courier was City Link yet it arrives in one piece and ontime, the postage label had just managed to stay tuck to the gig bag.
 7.
sadly, even that could potentially turn into another 'Raze' situation (extremely unlikely though) as our pal Mr Punkdude found out
Missed that, what happened?
 8.
Hi Could you guys outline the usual proceedings when buying a bass from another forum member? i.e Without the protection of Ebay and PayPal what precautions can you take when buying from someone who is effectively a stranger to you? Here's what I had in mind but any suggestions would be welcome; Do you have the original invoice? Does the bass come with any warranty? Is it in 100% good condition? Has it had, or does it need a set up? Is there a hard case? Could you tell me how it would be packed? Delivery cost? Would you accept payment via PayPal? Cheers.
I think the feedback system on here works very well. If a BC'er has a good feedback thread associated with them then that is good enough for me, obviously if they are newbie's with no feedback then it can be a bit of a punt
 9. Thanks for the update, nice to know that it originated from this forum. Whilst I know it is not an EUB, it has got a great sound to it, more authentic than the ashbory and UBass basses in my humble opinion. I bought a bass from Paul on here last year, he really puts together great quality sounding basses, I dont know how he does it for the price. Thanks
 10. Purchased this via eBay a couple of weeks ago, it is a mini upright bass mounted on a tripod. The guy selling it suggested it was a Prosebass, or at least the person he bought it off had suggested that to him! I have owned a Prosebass in the past and this does look similar in style and finish. With Paul being a regualar on this forum, just wondered if it had belonged to anybody on here, or even if it is actually a Prosebass? Thanks
 11. **SOLD** Selling my 3 leaf audio Groove Regulator, it is in excellent condition and comes complete with original instructions, box and drawstring bag. Only selling it as I dont use it enough, the only effect I am using lately is the compressor. Will be sent out by 24hr signed for delivery with full insurance, payment by bank transfer or personal Paypal payment. Thanks
 12.
Since I'm back from my robbin' ,I'd like to ask you if 400 pounds also include a shipping to germany( if you would do it) Cheers.
Hello, Glad to see you made it back safely. The £400 is for shipping within mainland uk only. Cheers Mike
 13.
You do not want a golden P-bass? xD Damn big need for a MM SUB or Sterlingray... See you later, I will rob a bank.
14.
Oh. there's an audiobook version of My Bass And Other Animals. "My book 'My bass and other animals' is finally available as an audio book, read by me, from Audible.co.uk" http://www.audible.co.uk/pd/ref=sr_1_2?asi...8298&sr=1-2
Its very good, was only £3.95 on iTunes when I got it
 15.
Bump for a very nice bass (and if I didn't have a sub already I'd have bought this beautiful bass from you quicker than a rat up a drainpipe).
Thanks
 16. Perhaps he should stick to what he knows, I love his work on Bargain Hunt.
 17.
I'm assuming you mean the "scale length" if so it's standard 34" scale, if you mean how much shorter is it all together obviously it has no headstock, so several inches short! oooerr mother
True, I should have been clearer. I meant the length of the bass as a whole, I appreciate that it is at least the headstock shorter, just wondered if the body was any smaller than a typical full sise j or p?
 18. Hello, How much shorter are these than a fullszie precision or jazz bass? Cheers
