I have decided that the final song in our set would be better played with a plectrum but all the other songs will be fingers. In the past I would stuff a plectrum between the body and the scratchplate but my scratchplate severely warped doing that. As the final song runs on from the previous fingered song in a medley style I have a mere 4 bars (@ something like 140bpm) to grab my plectrum and sort myself out.... I don't think a back pocket would work and I probably won't be able to see if it's atop my amp... Where do you keep yours?

I think when I come to sell my bass I'll have to double/treble/quadruple the price and add the 'owned by *Twigman* from SL&G"...after all we've got loads more listeners on last.fm than him which must make me more famous than him. I've never had a bass lesson in my life but sometimes employ a technique which involves damping strings with the outside of my plucking hand.

I hope they don't make the same mistake that TWO/Magicalia did with Visordown. They introduced their own forum software and demanded an opt out of promos and made whole areas of the site subscription only....... That was horrible. Everyone deserted and set up their own place. Edit: hook line sinker - but i've seen it happen too often for real
