  1. I met with Keir to collect the bass I bought from him. The whole thing went as smooth as can be and he's a top fella to deal with and chew the fat with, especially as we both love our MusicMan's. Thanks Keir!
  2. Home now and basses all tucked up for the night. Really enjoyable meeting you all & thanks again to the organisers. The bass highlights for me were @floFC’s Kramer(great front p/up tone & lighter than expected), @SimBass’s Eminence EUB (far superior to my KK) and, at number 1, @emperormingus’s JMJ Mustang with flats ( I want one now!!).
  3. Joel bought my pedalboard in a smooth and easy transaction. Thanks Joel, good to meet you!

You've all seen and played the mk1 fretless, and the dolphin, but I got a mk2 5er just before the prices went silly. Some PJB stuff too. Might bring the double bass .. how big is the room? @PTB: MTD 535, Limelight Pino replica, possibly a MusicMan, MarkBass combo, HX XL & extension leads 😎
  5. This is excellent stuff and relevant to me too. Thanks!
  6. Oh heck! Thanks for your eagle eyes - I trusted my labelling from 8-9 years ago so it looks like I have sent the Eurosonics out in error. I will DM the recipient and amend the above. If the recipient doesn't want the Eurosonics, I will DM you and try and get them to you.
  7. Smanth bought an item from me in a textbook deal. Clear comms & prompt payment. She’s a top BC’er!
  8. A rough guess for the Slaps would be 60 gigs at 2 hours each x 2 years = 240 hours. The Eurosonics would be around 150 hours.
  9. I have come across 3 complete sets of used DB strings following our recent house move. All have been enjoyed, wiped down after use and have been stored in their original packaging in our smoke-free house since I moved back to Spirocores in 2013. UPDATE - it seems I have mixed up the strings and the packaging - I have tried to clarify this below. My thanks to SubsonicSimpleton. £35 £25 - Innovation Silver Slap - from memory, these replaced the above in around 2011 and were also regularly gigged for a couple of years. These seem to be about £170 new. Shown with the Eurosonics packaging. Eurosonic Light - SOLD Innovation Golden Slap - SOLD The price for each set includes UK postage.
  10. Having just bought a HX Stomp XL, it's time for this to go to a new home. I assume we all know what a Boss chorus pedal sounds like and this is a more versatile variant than some I have had over the years. It's in good condition and works well. I don't have the box or manual but it will be packed well. Price (now reduced to £40) includes UK postage.
  11. This pedal is in very good condition with its original box and manual. I'm only selling it because I'm moving over to a HX Stomp XL. Price includes UK shipping.
  12. TC Polytune in White. In good condition with velcro on the base. I'm only selling as moving over to a HX Stomp XL. Price now reduced to £40 including UK shipping.
  13. MXR M81 bass pre-amp. Bought on here a few years ago as a spare for my SansAmp but hardly used. It has a few minor scuffs & scratches on the paintwork that were there when I got it but the device works perfectly. I don't have the original box but it will be well packaged. Price now reduced again to £70 including UK postage.
  14. Here's a Diago pedal board measuring 49cm wide & 26cm deep. It has velcro all across the top with some discolouration on the lower part from velcro and gaffer tape that's been used (see photos). There are 4 small holes drilled in it to attach a pre-amp using cable ties. These don't impact its use and are not visible from the top. The board has six non-slip rubber feet and comes in its Diago bag with a zip pocket. Price includes UK postage.
  15. Having just bought a HX Stomp XL, it's time to move on my pedal board to a new home. The board & bag are both in good condition. Price reduced to £65 including UK shipping.
  16. Having just bought a HX Stomp XL, this is no longer needed. It works well and powers up to 6 pedals. Price includes UK postage.
  17. Bought a HX Stomp XL from Emmett in a textbook transaction. Good clear ad, quick comms, fast postage and helpful follow-up. He’s a top Basschatter!
  18. I’ve recently moved to the Midlands so this is in the diary.

Bought a pedal from Dave in a textbook transaction. Top guy!
  20. Great to see a Western Swing thread! My wife & I had a band doing this style 10+ years ago - The Red Jumps. This has brought back some happy memories. AATW rarely play the UK but are favorites of Mrs PTB. I managed to get front row seats at Nells in West London on our 30th wedding anniversary!
