    Hello! It's still a feeler 'cause I love how this preamp sounds on the power stage of my Twin Valve but... I have too much stuff. It works perfectly, the two front handles are missing but they're useless since it's such a tiny and light unit. More or less the same preamp used on the SWR SM400.     Bump. Must add that the Cooltube onboard preamp is very nice.

    EMG BTC Control. Just one concentric pot with lows and highs (the highs frequency can be decided with internal jumpers).

    Don't know if this helps but I sold and shipped a tube amp to Russia... and everything was fine. It happened last year, though.

    I'd swap them with a pair of EMGs if you're after a "wide-response" tone. Otherwise, if you want something smoother/darker go for AlNICo5.

    Thank you... it's certainly a high end product. I only played thru this cab once for 10 minutes, just to be sure it worked perfectly but I have SEVEN stacks and this is probably the most expensive cab of the lot. I lowered the price to £550 shipping included by UPS!

    I remember my VBA400 sounded great thru a single 4ohm 15" cab.
