1. I pm'd about this ages ago but didn't get a response.......bit of a shame as they are excellent pre-amps....
2. Already been said but this is the best place to find out all you need to know about Bass compression www.ovnilab.com/ I've used many different compressors and personally would recommend a very simple set up, too many variables makes it very difficult to easily adjust the settings on the fly. The Rothwell Love Squeeze is briliant, British built, great customer service and a great name for the pedal. However, as has already been said, something with metering is a good idea.
3. PM'd....
4. No reasonable offer refused.....
5. Definitely sold.....
6. Xotic Bass BB pre-amp - would be perfect for what you're looking for........
7. If you're planning on getting the MXR gear then I'll buy your Pickle Pie B and the 3Leaf pedal.....as has been said, they are probably the best fuzz and filter pedals around..... MXR Octave and Compressor pedals are very good but not sure about the others.....I tried them all and ended up with only the Octave Deluxe as it has the best tracking of any Octave pedal around....only reason I didn't get the compressor is that it's hard to beat my Rothwell Love Squeeze for simplicity, low noise level and the fact it doesn't colour my tone....
8. On hold pending payment......
9. Multicomp is now sold to a top bloke from Hemel Hempstead......
10. Bumpity bump........open to trades......
11. PM'd.....but maybe notifications is turned off......
12. All sold/traded....
13. Hi - Not a problem, it's actually quite straightforward to to use.The distortion is on the effected signal and can be adjusted from clean to full-on fuzz type distortion. The dry signal remains unaffected, the ratio between dry and effected signal can be blended so it sounds like a bass with a guitar a 3rd/4th/5th/Octave above, just like a chord. The pedal is great for 'power trio' situations when the guitar is soloing and the bass may sound a bit 'thin' on it's own. It also makes for awesome bass solos, which is what I used it for plus It meant I could dual/harmonise with the guitar for Thin Lizzy type guitar lines. Hope that explains..... Cheers Mike G.
14. Bump for huge price drop......
15. I'd be interested in the EX112 if your prepared to split......please do drop me a PM if you decide to sell separately...
16. This one looks very similar to one Mark at Bassdirect sold a while ago. Great bass, wish I'd bought it now as times have changed and I can't afford one now...... Have a bump on me, good luck with the sale....
17. No problem, happy to come over and pick it up. Will PM to arrange a good time.
18. Definetly interested in purchasing this as I've got two and a third would be great, have dropped a pm...... Hopefully it's not gone already....
19. Trades welcome, ideally an EBS Microbass II but happy to look at anything really interesting.....Octavious Squeezer thingy for instance...
20. Only had this a few days, I ordered it ages ago and got an Xotic BB Bass Preamp as a stand-in. Problem is I really like the Xotic so the brand new, unused Catalinbread SFT is up for sale. As you can see, it's the latest model and will be shipped in it's untouched box. Price is [s]£120[/s] £110 shipped in the UK, I'm happy to take Paypal and even happier to take a bank transfer. I'm based near Cambridge if you're thinking about dropping in for a cup of tea and a biscuit. Please do drop me a PM if you're interested.
