1. [s]Absolutely mint condition Gallien-Krueger 1001RB-II head in a 3u rack case with a 1u blanking plate. This has been my back-up head for a while and so has had very little use, I've still got the box and the instructions. Little bit of a back story on this amp as it was to be used at Michael Jackson's shows at the O2 but never got out of it's box. I'm looking for £425 £375 which includes the 3u rack case. Also for sale are two spotless Gallien-Krueger Neo 4x10s, each with a brilliant D2F cover. These were bought to go with the above head but haven't really had any use. These are awesome cabs that are very light and easy to move around, they've got castors as well. Looking for £395 each for the cabs which will obviously include the covers as well. I'm also including two GK speaker cables that came with the cabs which allows the use of the bi-amp facility on the 1001RB-II head. I'm happy to split these if there is enough interest. Also happy to deliver/meet-up depending on distance for no additional cost, I'm based near Cambridge if you'd like to drop in and try them out.[/s] [s]Please do drop me a line if you'd like to make an offer. Thanks for looking....[/s]
2. Yep, my 'switch' is the same - a bit of a pop but it's normal..... My TB750-A is superb and wouldn't be without it..as has been said, can't get a bad sound from it and very easy to dial-in what I need via Enahnce and Timbre By the way, the Trace Elliot AH I bought from Ziggy is awesome, really loving it, top bloke to deal with so potential purchasers should have every confidence....
3. I would give this guy a wide berth, Did a pedal trade with him, it started out as good natured but he turned very nasty when he believed he had a problem. Particularly when he considers all problems that arise to be caused solely by you and therefore should be fixed by you, even though they are quite clearly out of your control. Do not do a deal with him, he is a Newbie and has very, very immature attitude.
4. Just bought a brilliant Fender Reggie Hamilton from Ady and I have to say he is a pleasure to deal with, I'd thoroughly recommend Ady to anyone. Cheers Mike G
5. Hi, Definitely interested in buying the Reggie Hamilton for cash, one quick question - what's the string spacing at the bridge? Cheers Mike G.
6. I like the way Walshy has painted a picture of himself on the back of the bass......
7. +1 Bozzie.... On the one hand I love Bergs....but on the other I love Aggies.....who's best?.......there's only one way to find out.........FIGHT.......
8. All PMs responded to, the cabs are now on hold pending payment......
9. Two Bergantino AE112s up for grabs, took these in part-ex just recently. They are two of the last AE112s to be made before Berg neo cab production stopped. They are in 'as new' condition and come complete with the Berg padded covers. Really want to sell them as a pair (may change my mind if there's no interest) for the bargain price of £780 for the two together. Happy to deliver them for free (no silly mileage rates here...) provided it's not too far away or can arrange to meet up in the middle if it's a bit further away, I'm based near Cambridge. I'll put some pix up as soon as I get home which should be later this week. Please do drop me a PM if you're interested or have any questions, unfortunately can't really take a trade on these as I need the money to pay for a new cab. International shipping is possible, cost will depend on the destination. Thanks for looking.....
10. I pm'd about this ages ago but didn't get a response.......bit of a shame as they are excellent pre-amps....
11. Already been said but this is the best place to find out all you need to know about Bass compression www.ovnilab.com/ I've used many different compressors and personally would recommend a very simple set up, too many variables makes it very difficult to easily adjust the settings on the fly. The Rothwell Love Squeeze is briliant, British built, great customer service and a great name for the pedal. However, as has already been said, something with metering is a good idea.

13. Xotic Bass BB pre-amp - would be perfect for what you're looking for........
14. If you're planning on getting the MXR gear then I'll buy your Pickle Pie B and the 3Leaf pedal.....as has been said, they are probably the best fuzz and filter pedals around..... MXR Octave and Compressor pedals are very good but not sure about the others.....I tried them all and ended up with only the Octave Deluxe as it has the best tracking of any Octave pedal around....only reason I didn't get the compressor is that it's hard to beat my Rothwell Love Squeeze for simplicity, low noise level and the fact it doesn't colour my tone....
15. Multicomp is now sold to a top bloke from Hemel Hempstead......
