The Aphex 1402 Xciter is sold...... For sale is my Keeley 4 knob compressor, it's just about the best foot pedal compressor money can buy which is why I bought it...as a bass player you can't live without good compression and this certainly delivers. It even comes in the original box with Keeley sticker..! I'm looking for £170 or best offer plus postage, again no more than a couple of quid from the Post Office. Up for grabs is my almost new Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0. Lots of fabulous things said about this amp and quite rightly so, at 600w into 4 ohms from such a small and light beast....plus the e.q. is tremendous.....it even comes in the Genz Benz box it arrived in a few weeks ago....I'm asking £450 which is a bargain given the prices have just risen again....well over £600 for a new one now. I have to sell as I'm completely skint. I also have a Gig Skinz bag for it to go into which I can let you have for another £10 or so, shipping shouldn't be very expensive (www.interparcel.com) and for the right offer I'll throw it in free. Digitech Bad Monkey with the Humphrey Audio Bass Mod which eliminates the low end loss when the pedal is engaged. In 'as new' condition, a brilliant tube overdrive pedal which adds real warmth to your overdriven bass sound. Here we have my ESP B-206SM 6 string bass, comes complete with upgraded EMG Hz pick-ups and a Bartolini HR5.2 pre-amp installed by The Bass Gallery. It's in excellent unmarked condition being about six months old. It's strung with nearly new Elixirs which make it super smooth to play and I'll throw in the 'experienced but does the job very well' aluminium case. It has a super slim neck and easy string spacing which make it an excellent introduction to the world of six string basses. Reason for sale is that it's just not being played as I have three or four other six strings. Based near Cambridge, I'd be happy to travel (for free!!) to deliver/meet-up if it makes purchasing easier. Or I'm happy for you to come over and try it out through my rig(s). I'm looking for £450 (Bass cost me £370 without the case, upgrades cost me nearly £300!!) but I'm also happy to trade for a 500 watt (or more) amp. I'm selling a brand new Tech 21 VT bass pedal. As you can see from the picture, it's brand new in the tin and comes complete with plastic bag and sticker !! ....just come back from playing this bass and I must say it's a fantastic instrument. The pre-amp makes it particularly versatile in terms of available tones and the spalt top looks better in real life. I am sorely tempted so if anyone is thinking about it you'll need to be quick.....

One interesting point is that Daz at The Bassmerchant had (in fact still has) got the bass advertised at £3199 which as a bass shop I would assume he knows what he's talking about when it comes to value. Knowing Daz he's always up for a good haggle so let's call it £3k new. Now the £3k includes VAT, any import duties and courier fees which, just like cars, drops off the value the moment it leaves the shop. So let's call the real value £2,400. So, if our seller wants to get his money back then it's £2,400. This makes £2k look like a reasonable price. However, taking into account we are in the deepest recession since the second world war and more than 1 million more people will join the dole queue before Christmas, it may be more realistic to lower the price but this is purely subjective. Hope this makes things a little clearer.

Just about everyone knows about these.....they are great pieces of kit. Reason for sale is it's sitting around doing nothing and it would a shame for it not to get used. I can put some pix up if folks want them but they are so well known I guess everyone knows what they look like. The Microbass is 'as new', it's the latest model and will come in the unmarked box complete with instructions - £180 posted Paypal is fine, drop me a PM if you're interested. *** [b]Now Sold - Some days I really do love this site [/b]*** These are superb 2x12 cabs, check out the link below for specs. This one is the 4 ohm Neo version (hence the L for Light) so is a breeze to move about as you can pick it up with one hand. It has a Black Rhino finish which is much tougher than carpet or felt and will last extremely well plus of course you have the Schroeder cover (£50 on it's own!) which is a thickly padded, waterproof cover to ensure no damage when transporting the cab. The reason for 4 ohms is that I wanted a one cab solution that would get the max power out of my Markbass amp. This fits the bill perfectly.
