1. Putting my cherished NS5XL up for sale as it's hardly been used. It just sits in it's case unused which is such a waste of a brilliant bass, the Hazlab pre-amp is rightfully a legendary piece of kit. It's in mint condition as it's only been used a few times as I prefer to use my NS5H2. The 'Spector' picture is the actual bass, it's the picture from the BassDirect site when I bought it from Mark 5 years ago. I've also added some more pics, the bass is a lot more 'blue' than the pics suggest it's just that I'm not a great photographer. As you can see, it's in 'as new' condition and includes the Spector case with all the appropriate case candy. As you all probably know, Spector was sold to Korg in 2019 so this one is from the 'Stuart Spector' era. There's a new Korg NS5XL for sale at BassDirect for £5,500, I had a word with Mark at BassDirect and he valued this one at approx. £4K. If it doesn't sell on here then I'll probably take it up to BassDirect and let mark sell it for £4,000. Of course, if you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to drop me a message, many thanks for looking.

3. Here we have an unused Markbass NY121 cab. It came with my (now sold) CMD121P combo but I never used it in anger. It's in brilliant condition and comes with an excellent padded cover. I'm based near Cambridge and I'm happy to meet up within a reasonable distance or happy to use a courier if you're a bit further away.
4. Up for grabs is my mint condition Eden WT550, it's a 'Made in the USA' model as opposed to the later ones which are assembled in China. These are brilliant amps and the tone is fantastic, the only reason I'm selling is that it's been replaced as my number one amp by a Vanderkley Spartan. I can't really justify keeping it as I already have a back-up and it's too good to just be sitting around, plus I need to pay for the Spartan!! It's been a superb amp, being able to easily handle 4, 2.67 and 2 ohms. This has been a real bonus as I use a combination of two or three cabs depending on the venue, it really is a very versatile amp. The range of tones has just been awesome, especially given the tube pre-amp, on-board compressor and parametric eq. By the way, it's very loud, capable of 750w into 2 ohms, I've never struggled for volume in any venue. I'm based near Cambridge, more than happy to meet up if you live a fair distance away. Any questions at all please don't hesitate to drop me a line. By the way, I've also got a case for it which I'm happy to throw in if the price is right :-)
5. Great bass, whereabouts are you based?
6. Beautiful bass....two quick questions; will it make me play better and what is that stuck to the bass near the jack socket?

9. ..would really love to trade this for a small(ish) back-up amp, more than happy to put some cash into the deal....
10. ..I'm particularly interested in trades for a good quality amp or a passive Fender Jazz 5...
11. Love it...I'll have to look down the back of a lot of sofas to buy this one though...
12. Great bass, any trades at all?
13. Sorry for the delay in responding....here's some pics, please do drop me a line if you need any more info...
14. ...I'm a bit confused by the above comment....no-one has made any offers or trade propositions in this thread...is it not OK to put 'PM'd' in the comments?
15. Here we have a brilliant little combo, very powerful for it's size with the FFP design which gives it great bass response and very punchy mids. The effects (compressor/chorus/octaver/drive/reverb/delay as well as a looper) are just great and the amp emulations give a fantastic array of tone options. Can be used with an extension cab to make for a very versatile and portable little rig. I'm sure it would be just fine for rehearsals and smaller gigs. Here are the specs from Roland - Roland Web Site It's in 'As New' condition having only ever been used in my office for noodling and learning new bass lines when playing along to Youtube. More than happy to courier it at additional cost although happy to meet up if you're not too far away (I live near Cambridge). Any questions please do drop me a line.
16. ..not this one by any chance www.thebassgallery.com/ns5cr.html
17. ...of course, no problem...it is indeed 35" scale, string spacing is 0.66 inches (17mm) at the bridge and the weight is 4.3kg (9.5lbs). If you'd like any more pics do let me know, it really does look superb in the flesh...always happy to entertain offers.
18. Here we have a very special Spector Euro 5LX. It's something of a one-off given it's Tobacco Sunburst with gold hardware, the standard Tobacco Sunburst basses have chrome hardware which makes them look a little cold (imho). This one also has the EMG40DC pick-ups with the EMG BQC pre-amp, both of which were factory installed. These are well matched (as per the Alex Webster model), giving excellent control over the mids which is a great improvement over the Tonepump pre. This is a significant upgrade over the now standard bartolini pups, I don't think you can get the tobacco sunburst with EMGs anymore. The EMG BQC is a brilliant pre-amp, it has master volume and pick-up pan as well as bass, mid and treble controls. There is also a mid frequency control too, having full control over the mids is the key to getting the best possible tone. There's even a treble frequency selector in the control cavity, this really does the trick in getting an awesome slap tone. I picked this one up in Italy when I was playing over there last year, I just fell in love with it in the shop. It's always been a back-up (I have a few US Spectors) and has never been used in anger so it's in 'as new' condition. I'll even throw in a brand new, unused Spector hard case if the price is right. I am interested in trades, particularly for an amp or a passive Fender Jazz 5. I live near Cambridge and more than happy if you want to stop by and try it out. I'm also up for meeting halfway if you live further away, don't worry about the fuel costs. Also happy to courier the bass as it'll be in a hard case and I have a box. As always, I'm happy to have a discussion around the price as it would be great to see it go to a good home. Any questions just fire away, many thanks for looking.
