1. Sold, thanks for the bumps and complements
2. Thanks for your kind words Ed
3. Are these nickel or stainless please? (nickel is the right answer)
4. Another vote for that pair of Westone's
5. A real beauty. Pm'd with a daft suggestion. Peter
6. I'm biased but I'd say this bass would pleasantly surprise you: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry445155
7. Here's a couple of Harmony Central reviews: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...anyo/SB320/10/1
8. Well, happy bunny I'm not. Having held onto this bass for nearly 3 weeks and put off other prospective buyers (who've since gone elsewhere) AND arranged delivery the buyer has backed out. So this really superb bass is back up for sale. Sale only and a fair price of £200, no offers. I can provide a hard case if required. For those not in the know, these basses are Japanese made and active, of high quality and weren't at all cheap in their day (approx £600 in 1995). I've owned 3 Bass Collections and this one is in exceptional condition. Also one of the lightest basses you will find. Collection preferred (I'm in Kendal) and I'm heading South on Sunday towards Southampton and then back via Essex if that helps. 9. The Ric MRRP hasn't been as low as £1k for many years, nearer £1.3.
10. Odd, £329 now reduced from £399 Mine was £185 and I'm chuffed. I don't use it either as it's my back up
11. Sold Chris my Sound City - great guy, recommended. Peter
12.
Surform? Angle Grinder?
On the Coupe presumably not the cab
13. Wow a flame tail. That figuring change is really something Dave.
14. You were already 'pencilled in' Pete. Provisionally Sold then pending the usual.
15. I'm afraid for everyone in the queue it's sold. Hope you don't mind me not sending individual pm's. Thanks for the interest. Another amp and cab bargain here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=44766&hl= Peter
16. Interesting Mark If it was with the matching BBT410 it would have been operating at 4 ohms so still not delivering its full quota of watts. All the matching cabs are 4 ohms and rated at 250 watts, the 4x10, 2x10 and the 1x10 - strange but true.
17. Yes and approx 2/3 of the power will go to the 4 Ohm cab.
18. Following on from putting my Sound City 120 up for sale I've decided to offer my Yamaha BBT500H 500w 2 ohm head and matching 2x10 4 ohm cab. The head has only seen a little home use, is unmarked but comes without a box and with it's manual printed from download as I sold another BBT500H (in more used condition) with those a while back. The cab is brand new and still in it's box, only used to check it works. One price, no offers and no postage, collection or can deliver within reasonable distance. Try before you buy also an option. Again I'm travelling from Kendal to Southampton on Sunday so can deliver. £220 for the rig. You'll need another 4 ohm cab to liberate the full 500 watts. They look just like this (photos can be provided). Peter
19. Ahh but I play so badly no-one would recognise my interpretation of the basslines anyway
20. 2 x 4 Ohms are more unusual but if your head delivers maximum output at 2 ohms then that's the way to go. I would choose a head 1st and then buy cabs to suit. Unless of course a pair of great cabs comes your way and limits your head options. Peter - Who actually has a Yamaha BBT500 head and one BBT210 4ohm 2x10 not getting used, must put em up for sale.
21. I hope you 3 fans don't mind me saying that Rippers do absolutely nowt for me. Gibson have always been a huge disappointment for me considering their guitar pedigree.
