1. Now we're all entitled to our opinions. I did clearly ask for urgent advice and can't see where advice on my needs was requested although my post was light hearted as generally is my nature. As for moaning? My sarcastic remark was because having specifically asked for help and saying that I was on my phone the 1st respondant wasn't at all helpful and just passed unsolicited judgement on what I have and therefore my needs. Wtf?
2. I was after some genuine useful advice on G+L prices. I wasn't after judgement on whether I needed it etc. I'm old enough to make those decisions myself. It's up as a half price clearance offer and it sounds and plays great. I wanted to make sure that they don't all go for this sorta dosh. Thanks for the useful advice. Some of the other stuff seems to go with the territory a little too often nowadays. Peter
3. Thanx for not a lot of help, hope I can return the favour some day.
4. Just seen a new G and L tribute for 349 GBP. Is this a mega deal or is it just me? Don't really need though it sounds sweet. Should the price make it unmissable? On my phone so pms good. Peter
5. I met Nik yesterday over a coffee and sold him my Peavey T-40. I've known Nik for a long time on the forum and its predecesser and always thought that he was a great bloke. Yesterday confirmed that! Peter
6. This is a case of me being a bit me really. I've had half an ear to the ground for a reasonably priced 4 x 10 as I've never used one and wonder what they would be like compared to the GS112's. Sold my Yamaha BBT500H and BBT210-S to Pete yesterday and became aware he was looking for a matching 4 ohm cab. Didn't clock that he was selling 4 x 10 8 ohm cab So today we met for the 2nd time in 2 days and the cab is mine. Would have been a lot easier and saved petrol, time, miles and £20 notes if we'd have done this yesterday. Initial impressions are that the 4 x 10 compliments the Aguilar very well, as in they're very different. Will update.
7. pm'd
8. Met up with Pete today and did the dodgy motorway service station thing Excellent guy. Peter

15. I'm biased but I'd say this bass would pleasantly surprise you: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry445155
16. Here's a couple of Harmony Central reviews: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...anyo/SB320/10/1
17. Well, happy bunny I'm not. Having held onto this bass for nearly 3 weeks and put off other prospective buyers (who've since gone elsewhere) AND arranged delivery the buyer has backed out. So this really superb bass is back up for sale. Sale only and a fair price of £200, no offers. I can provide a hard case if required. For those not in the know, these basses are Japanese made and active, of high quality and weren't at all cheap in their day (approx £600 in 1995). I've owned 3 Bass Collections and this one is in exceptional condition. Also one of the lightest basses you will find. Collection preferred (I'm in Kendal) and I'm heading South on Sunday towards Southampton and then back via Essex if that helps.
