    that’s how I use mine. Always on and first in the chain. Just adds a little gain. After a while you won’t notice it at all unless you turn it off. I mean that in a good way of course.

    Anyone seen them this weekend or tonight in London. I was at Manchester. Incredible. What a performance. What a bassist. The sound was very loud but really good quality. Proper HiFi 👌

    I just use it that way. Adds some nice subtle gain.

    If that’s the case, if I have 2 selected and I switch the lower gain one on and off, there should be no difference correct?

    He said straight after the Kaleidoscope reissue which has just happened so I’m thinking it’s only going to be a few weeks. 🤷‍♂️

    Fairly sure they stack. You get a really nice woolly fuzz with them all selected. Are you not waiting for the bass version?

    Sadly not. These plenty of demos out there. The Kaleidoscope reverb sounds insane.

    Yeah this is a great pedal. I have 2. A working one and one of the original faulty ones. The full on fuzz is really nice.

    I’m maybe looking at going with Retrovibe for my next 32”. Most of their basses are available in 32” scale and they do some really great looking basses.

    Yeah it’s a really nice bass to play. Very impressed given how cheap these are new.

    I have 2.5mm and as I understand it even that is overkill, but they where cheap enough so why not..

    EBay for £95. I already had the Hi Mass bridge and EMG pickups so I put them on it. It sounds really great. It weights a tonne

    agree this is correct, but it wouldn’t make sense for the effects loop to be excluded from the DI signal would it? So either the effects loop is pre EQ or you need to select post EQ DI if you’re using the effects loop.

    Looking at the effects list I'm thinking the expression pedal is very limit in what it can control. I would have hoped they'd take inspiration for the Helix and make any parameter controllable...

    One thing that attracted me was the fact that he seems to do a fair few 32” scales which is what I’m playing at the minute.

    If the effects loop is after the speaker sim, how does the speaker sim defeat button effect the effects loop. as I understand it, the speaker sim defeat only effects the line/amp out and not the di? If this is the case the defeat must be before the effects loop no?

    can I hijack this a little and ask for your opinion on Retrovibe basses? I’m guessing as you own 3 you like them. Just asking as I’ve been looking at his recent builds and they look great.

    Head in the picture is 18.5” and I’m sure the cabs are the same, looking at the photo. The cab dimensions you’re looking at include the rubber feet which I’ve relocated to the bottom.
