  1. another bump on this, probably wont be able to ship until after this weekend, at which time, someone will do it for me (as I will be somewhere far warmer) Tony
  2. I thought the fretted was 40mm and thie fretless was slightly narrower? It isnt with me now so can't check at 40mm its 2mm wider than a Jazz, but it has a very narrow, slim profile, feels slimmer than a jazz as a result. I like narrow nuts and I like this, it feels right There is an offer pending on this, just waiting for the person to get back to me to confirm, so still on the market Tony
  3. Got someone on this but they are slow to reply, so gonna bump it Holiday plans have changed, so this is shippable early next week Tony
  4. Bump Last day I can ship this is tomorrow, should someone wanna go for it I'm off for two weeks, so PM me if intrested as I will have www access, but will not be able to ship until w/c 6th september Cheers Tony
  5. Used streamer stage 1!! Good S/H prices as well I owned a fair few streamers a few years back, and the stage 1's I had were without doubt the best of them all Tony
  6. PM's replied to Yes, I will ship this If you want it, be quick, I'm off to greece for two weeks on saturday, can ship up to Friday Tony
  7. Both my CS jazzes have had the logo in the same place, which is a different place to the one on this bass, don't know if thats normal though? I've seen a few other CS guitars and they all seem to be in the same place?
  8. Great amp! Buy this and die happy T
  9. I used cubase for years with PC. Got fed up with my PC being crap and bought a mac, best thing I ever did! I bought a used mac G5 for about £300, then a used digi 002 interface for about £400, then Pro tools LE8 for £100 Total £800, turned PC on, installed software, plugged desk in, ready to go! No messing with drivers or any of that rubbish Took some time to get used to PT, but it is very obvious in a lot of respects. It just works every time, no problems unless I run some huge plug in, and that is just cos the mac is an older machine! Best move I have made, guitarist in my band has similar set up on a sh*t hot PC which cost a fair but to build, we move sessions between machines without any problems. Great for writing and we use a lot of tracks, which has never caused me a problem Tony
  10. I played something similar, one of the special runs they did, cant remember which one, it was OK, needed a set up though. I have a custom classic, which is a dream to play! is is the second one I've owned, the first one was just as good!! Tony
  11. Go for it, sonic blue is without doubt, the best colour out there I waited for a long time to get a CS jazz in SB or SFG, the SFG came up first, so got that. Got a sterling that needs a refin, so will probably get that done in nitro, SB Tony
  12. I was GAS free until I saw this!!! Amazing bass, love the finish, my favourite colour as well Tony
  13. I may be able to keep this now, but still open to selling if someone is wanting a fine fretless, may also consider trade for 4 string stingray Tony
  14. Consider yourself told, now! Lol Would like another JD, totally irrelevant for what I do now. But such a good bass to plAy! Tony
  15. were these a custom shop bass (team build?) My CS is very well put together! Tony
  16. Pair of Klotz La Grange 20' leads Good quality leads, bought from PMT a few months back, chnaged my board around and now need right angled plugs, doh These are great quality, but quiet a rigid cable Cost me £70 for the 2 £20 each or £35 for the pair
  17. Good afternoon Martin, how's things! Ok, here's a deal! Take it as either fretted or fretless and leave me with the spare neck for £550! I'll collect some hardware and get a body made for the remaing neck!!! Tony
  18. Recent pic's with fretless neck [attachment=55701:funkmeister1.jpg] [attachment=55703:funkmeister2.jpg] [attachment=55704:funkmeister3.jpg] [attachment=55702:funkmeiste4.jpg] [attachment=55705:funkmeister5.jpg]
  19. Some old images with fretted neck, more current images with fretless necl to follow [attachment=55696:iceni2.jpg] [attachment=55697:iceni1.jpg] [attachment=55698:iceni3.jpg] [attachment=55699:iceni4.jpg] [attachment=55700:iceni5.jpg]
  20. Get both I have a jazz and a sterling, that is a better combo than a jazz and 'ray for me as I have smallish hands. I find, the range of tones from both basses is incredible, they cover just about anything! Add to that a fretless Jazz and I'm very happy! Would like another 5 string, but difficult which way to go, Jazz and MM! I would go 2 band! I aint played one for a while, didn't miss the mid control when I did and i remember they sounded great, one less knob to tweak as well, I like it simple when on stage! Classic sterling for me, 2 band, in powder blue, will be joining a sea foam green jazz and a lake placid blue jazz! Tony
