  1. If it does that with battery power and no other devices in the chain it's broken.
  2. @Wayne Firefly was online a mere 9 hours ago so perhaps he gets the memo now?
  3. 100w worth of dummy would be a bit of extra weight.
  4. Trace Transit. Although big on the long side it isn't overly tall or deep for all you get. Dual compressors, full EQ, tuner and DI ( optional o/d can probably give a clean boost as well). You really don't need any pedalboard under it so you'd be ahead, and it comes with its own carry bag.
  5. Knockoff by B'ringer not the real deal.
  6. It's not like a BDDI is a big investment. Then you're golden, if a little midscooped in the high mids, for some tone in the event of amp failure.
  7. Not clear if it's open E or all the notes up the E string.
  8. When you do need an amp you'll be hauling a much bigger unit. Dunno what the input level needs are on the proposed B'ringer, nor the output level of SGT, but shouldn't be hard to find out. I always forget the difference in dBU vs dBV though.
  9. If your combo is an mb200 in a box with a speaker then it should take an extension cab. That would be a good thing to try before ditching it. Crazy how loud an MB200 goes through a big cab at 4ohms.
  10. It's the economists' purview to figure out the complex behaviour that is the cause. They can't. So Central Banks pull levers to do their best and eventually it settles down as the economists 'predicted' so they all keep their jobs.
  11. Compare the US pricing and the rates of exchange over time to get the true picture.
  12. Chickens and basses. If economists really understood inflation we wouldn't have any. Instead we have people doing what they do and the value of money is decreasing as prices rise. If you're asking "is the rising price of basses out of kilter with inflation?" that is a different question.
  13. The draw is the thing. As WS intimated, the supply has to be rated for the draw that is sucking on it. There are lists of power draws for pedals on the internet.
  14. Decibels of sensitivity not years methinks.
  15. BB = BigBaby by Alex at Barefaced? Most likely a compression driver rather than a tweeter. There's a bit going on with his HF control that I still don't really understand. Something about a crossover frequency control rather than a level control?
  16. Reverse psychology job done on postal service! No excuse for not treating fragile item as fragile. That's some tough plastic that builders' stuff, ideal for preventing any scratching.
  17. I think you need a little bit of power to make the magic happen. Otherwise we would be awash with passive HPF boxes. Your Broughton will make you so happy you forget all about it.
  18. Either you can enjoy being the foundation or you can suffer. I prefer the former even if it's a dirge dancefloor emptier bar queue generator I would rather not play.
