1. I want this!! But need a sale, a job would be nice too. What a great bit of kit!
2. Classic guitar en all! Wish you lived closer.
3. Ha! Gorgeous, can't help but smile. Takes me back to my first lessons, this was my dream bass
4. Jaw dropping, we definately have the same taste in basses. How much are these???
5.
I've had mine up at 1400 (9.5/10 mint 2001 custom order with plain top, gold parts and hangtags) and its not budged. Killer guitars, the best I have ever played, but nobody seems to have enough money to drop on one of these beauties. They don't know what they are missing, and yours looks bloody stunning.
What is the difference between the two? I don't know anything about PRS all I know is great on crunch EDIT!! Sorry top and neck, I should really go to sleep!!!
6.
I am ONLY interested in letting this go as part of a trade for a 4-string Eminence EUB. That's it - nothing else will be entertained.
You Tease!!
7. I don't like it, sunburst rosewood/blocks and tort would have been more appealing to me.
8. Have you got Fender tattoo'd on your ring finger?? Great video, I enjoyed your previous soundclips of the richwood stuff - i'll buy one soon!
9. Stuff like this makes me love this site.
10. Nordstrand Jazz tone is my favourite, I also like the Pensa Fretless, BUT!! Marleaux does an incredible Vintage J impression so if your just after tone and not the Vintage look as well they play comfortably too!
11. When Bo Diddley was going to tour here I bought this in NYC as I'd been promised a meet with him at The Robin. Sadly he had a stroke before the UK part of the tour was due to start & died a few weeks later. There'd be very little RnR as we have it now without good ol Bo. It now has the Electromatics back in & the chrome mounts.
These guitars sound absolutely fantastic, I tried one for a laugh...that thing is no joke.
12. Gorgeous!! Overwaters best finish IMO. A lot of purdy custom fretless fives up at the moment, I had a Marleaux but I only played old school so didn't know what to use the B for apart from a comfy thumb rest . Best of luck with the sale!! BUMP
13. Heres a new one from the same 2007 series range - they all cost the same RRP, this one is close to what I paid and shows the hefty discount on mine: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Charvel-Grover-J...=item2c5dae385e
14. How is this still here!!? One year off my date of birth...
15. I still get this problem sometimes, I get nervous and clunky under pressure - metronome and experience
16. Thanks Noel and Zigmondo! After re-checking the full serial on the pickups its confirmed both the body and the humbuckers to 1981 according to the sourcing above , still mind boggling why its the '76-'79 build spec lol definately not 70's though a firm '81!! SG 56522 Looks like I'll start my new band in just over week without an amp - only straight trade offers here!
17. I like the Pig playing Double Bass Teehee!
