    I know what you mean, I've never taken the pick guard off before and if it wasn't for the screw holes I wouldn't put it back on. I'm sure the holes can be filled and refinished

    That's exactly what the bassist in Reef does according to their tech. Series 3 SWB in green apparently gives the best tone.

    I went to Brizzle on Sunday and couldn't find anywhere to park on a street that didn't have double yellow lines. The nearest car park was a long walk from where I wanted to go. It's hardly surprising everyone does their shopping online.

    Since Bath has gone all anti car I just don't go there any more. It costs a fortune to park, the traffic is terrible and if you so much as fart out of key you'll get a fine of twelfty million pounds.

    I have had a SUB Ray 5. It's pretty muddy on the low B string. I upgraded the preamp to a Darkglass tone capsule which helped a lot but still not amazing. I replaced it with a Ray35 which for not much more money used was a HUGE amount better, really nice bass. I sold mine for £450 recently.
