  1. When was the last time they released something really exceptional? The sort of quality you'd expect of legends?
  2. So general opinion is not positive then?
  3. Is premature ejacula-shun an age related problem? Erectile disfunc-shun certainly can be. The two problems are rarely combined.
  4. One inch man - Kyuss
  5. Why would they make the drums so loud when they're not interesting or creative? Bass is too quiet again. Metallica used to make great music, these days it's all just average. With the exception of Lars they're all extremely good musicians (even Lars is good, but not great) but I think they ran out of ideas a long time ago.
  6. Toxic garbage island - Gojira
  7. Harvester of sorrow - Metallica
  8. Thanks, they look ideal
  9. Should have said, round wound, standard length, nothing fancy.
  10. Does anyone make a 4 string set suitable for BEAD tunings? Something like .130 - .065 would do it. I'm currently buying 5 string sets be it seems a bit wasteful buying that .045 g string that I'll never fit. Saving the planet and a few quid with one less string.
  11. Rotten Apple - Alice In Chains
  12. Hanging tree - Mark Lanegan & QOTSA
  13. Dirty - Christina Aguilera
  14. For me there's nothing special about Fenders. They're just a solid do it all tool. They sound decent on anything from jazz to doom metal and you can make a P or J cut through about anything. That's also the reason I'd probably only buy Mexican P bass rather than a fancy one.
  15. Come as you are - Nirvana
  16. I didn't want a Fender because everyone and their mum plays a Fender. I recently bought a Mexican P bass and now I understand why everyone plays them.
  17. Feel the pain au chocolate - Dinosaur Jr
  18. Communication breakdown - Led Zeppelin
  19. Satellite - Lou Reed
  20. Pass the dutchie - Musical Youth
  21. Standing in the way of control - Gossip
  22. Touch me I'm sick - Mudhoney
  23. Danger High Voltage - Electric Six
  24. Thunderbird - Seasick Steve
  25. The ones you get bombarded with on social media are always deliberately controversial because it gets engagement and people replying to say how bad it is gets them bumped up the algorithm rankings. That's why a "Hardcore punks top 5 songs ranked" list will have Ed Sheeran at number 1.
