Foals, Skunk Anansie, Pigs x7 and The Damned are the only redeeming features I can see other than the lack of Coldplay.

It's been awful every year since Emily Eavis took over booking acts.

But European bands touring the UK only have to pass through one border while British bands touring Europe have to pass through several (rarely all 28, more like 5 or 6). I guess it now makes more sense to tour the US instead of Europe.

Isn't brexit more an issue for British bands touring Europe than for European bands travelling to Britain?

I went to Peter Gabriel's studio last December and was chatting to an old bloke who had worked there for years. He told me it's quite common for all these old legends to meet up and jam or get little projects going that never release anything. He told me about a jam session a few weeks earlier with Jimmy Page, Nick Mason and Geoff Barrow (the bassist from Portishead). I wish I could have heard that session.

All royalties payments finished forever. Future prospects for joining new bands probably ruined as well due to guilt by association. I am assuming their innocence as I have never personally heard that they aren't

I feel sorry for the other members of Lost Prophets and Glitter Band (assuming they are innocent). Their careers were destroyed by one band member.

I think I'd take the Killing Joke gig. Touring the world, playing to some of the most loyal audiences in metal and getting paid for it is more appealing than getting rich. I've never been motivated by money, if I was I wouldn't be an engineer.

I'm more of a Paul Raven era fan although Turn to Red is an exceptionally good tune.

I'm very much not a fan of the Verve, or any britpop really. I'll be honest, I thought he produced a load of boy bands but it seems I may have been mistaken. He did produce Dido, Bananarama and James though who are all pretty terrible.
