  11. I think you're right. He's very good, his tabs are usually spot on, unlike every other person who shares tabs on the Internet! Really good playing plus it's well filmed so you can see exactly what his hands are doing.

  17. Just booked day tickets for the Thursday at Arctangent festival for myself and the oldest offspring (she loves metal). Really looking forward to seeing Opeth, Cult of Luna, Enslaved and Alcest but I don't think there's a band on the lineup I won't enjoy.

  22. I cheated at last night's jam session and ripped off the riff for a jam since it was already lodged in my head.
  23. I'm not getting in to that one. We all know it's subjective but they're legendary bands who have sold enormous amounts of records and influenced lots of those who have followed them. Maybe the beatles, Zeppelin, the stones, Motorhead and Sabbath aren't the most technically gifted musicians who have ever lived, maybe not even in their time but their influence can be heard in so much music that followed them.
  24. Stop by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Not sure why, haven't listened to it in ages. Great bass riff, proper scumbag rock and roll.
  25. They were bands from the British Isles. I don't see how any of them could be not considered British.
