    Hi All, Got this from Gafbass02 recently and it is a truly amazing bass, looks gorgeous and plays faultlessly, it's just that I just don't seem to get on with Fenders these days, go figure! Gaf had the action so low on this you only had to look at the strings to play it!     I think it's a steal for anyone in the market for one, that's why the heads up, you won't find another 62 in this condition, and it's playable!

    Was in a music shop yesterday and saw an immaculate, must be never used Hofner Senator bass, made in 1962 and all original! with original sales receipt too. It is currently getting a clean up and set up but it will be basically a NOS bass from the 60's! I think it will be going out for around the £500 mark, if anyone is interested I will put you in touch with the guy before it goes on sale. Just thought I would do a heads up in case anyone was looking for a genuine vintage instrument!

    awful, just awful...... play for the song I always think, that bore no relation to the song or the vibe at all, just lots of show off techniques that lack any musicality IMHO

    Hi, These are great fun and are really great sounding bits of kit, but I am not using it enough to warrant keeping it. Gets that great double bass sound. Sensible price to sell!     I was having a mooch through the music section in my local 'Works', and stumbled across a natty paperbook entitled, Basd Player presents The Funky Bass Book, reduced from £14.99 to £2.00, enjoying the read. They had a few copies, so let me know if your local one doesn't or they are showing no stock online and I will nab 'em.
