2.
I can only apologise again - Maybe I'm at fault for inviting the deals to be done via PM and perhaps the Mods should give some guidance on this. I decided to use what I call 'old rules' that is the first guy with the money gets them. I will reiterate my apologies by PM! H.
3.
I'll take them anyway.......... D.
So sorry mate another Basschatter confirmed payment just minutes before you. H.

5.
ARE YOU GOING TO RESIGN
Well early retirement does have a certain appeal but I'm an obstinate beggar (I bet TB is laughing all the way home but of course once he gets there there's CB to face and that must be enough to wipe any smile off) Right no more politics - on with the sale.

7. Yup - Beedster's yer man - that's the very same type of head I was able to supply a little while back.
8.
"The tape isn't necessary however I feel it adds more character to the guitar"
As mentioned on the parallel thread I've got two rolls of character in my workshop if anyone wants to add to their bass - it comes in two widths - £1.00 per inch for the narrow stuff and £1.50 for the wider version. Also Gaffa tape for those seeking a stronger character - price on application.
9. But the the tape adds character - I've got two rolls of character in a draw if anyone wants some - and in a choice of widths!
10.
I made that nut from an ivory-coloured chopstick.
Velly nice.
11. I think there was planned to be a collaberation between Ernie Ball and the pickup designer Bert Olini - the end result would have been a Bert and Ernie model.
12. Allparts UK also distribute Mojo so the Ampeg range is available via them - not likely to be 'on the shelf' however - delivery around 14 days. Oops my mistake - website says it IS in stock.
13. If you consider Fender blue /silver may be close enough, Allparts can supply it.
14.
Wilco are big fans of these I believe...
Don't you mean Bilko?
15. Anyone out there confirm my recollection that the early imported run of Musicman Stingray basses (circa 1978) were supplied with flats as standard? ALSO same recollection on a new (in 1976) Gibson T-bird? - I don't have the bass any more but have just rediscovered a string set put away years ago and indexed 'from Bi-centenial T-bird' - Flats with orange thread wraps. DITTO 70s Rickenbacker 4001. I reckon they've always been around but guys re-strung so regularly and kept trying the latest products, usually rounds.
16. It's got out of hand - I'm just about to head out for Sunday lunch and I'm gonna have the pork - do you hear? - PORK!! Then again, they do something that sounds like 'lamb cutlass' - I think graphite might be involved.
17. With a handle like shaggy you should be very careful out there - one or two members seem to have rammed the point home quite forcibly.
18.
sing of dodgy workmanship
Never had much of a problem with Allparts (exept for timing) as long as you get the order number right - better description (by pics) would help. Now , altogether now ......
19. Thank heavens for a sensible and informative reply. Saved me getting to the point of mentioning Cardigan and woolly jumpers.

21. It's OK Steve - bilbo's asleep now. My source reckons the parts were made in the Far East and then put together in Wales. However the ad. states 1980s and I thought Welsh Assembly came later than that?
22. Afraid we've got a way to go yet - here's us taking the mick out of this listing and I've just been told that there is indeed a chance the bass was made in Wales - I'm seeking verification but the information did come from a mint source.
23. I'm trying to come up with a line about chops but struggling.....
