3. Just traded with Ville and everything went very well. Great communication, nice guy and nice bass. Would definately deal with again. Recommended. All the best, John.
4. Bump. Trades? I've had a couple of offers but it's worth a try

7.
Link doesnt work for me John...
It should (hopefully) work if you copy and paste. Again, i'm on my phone so will sort it out when I get back from work. Cheers, John
8. To the top. Any trades anyone? Try me. I'll spruce up the post tonight with embedded pictures instead of my lazy link
9. Up for trade is my ESH custom 6 string. Most of the details can be found in Molans thread here: Molans Thread (hope you don't mind Barrie, it's just i'm doing this on my phone when i'm meant to be working ) I'm looking to move it simply because I haven't made use of the 6th string (a common trend it seems). It's in the same condition as i got it. String spacing looks to be 19mm at the bridge and it feels pretty light for such a big bass at maybe about 9lbs. I could be wrong though as i have no scales. Tradewise i'm looking for another 5 string. Preferably something a bit different but i've been digging Jazzes lately so try me. Actually come to think of it, just try me in general, worst I can say is no:) I live in Ireland so the way i'd work shipping is I pay to ship this, you pay to ship yours as the other way round, it'd be very expensive for you. So that's it, any questions just ask. Cheers, John.
10. There's a guy in the For Sale: International section of TalkBass that has a Yin Yang for sale. Could be worth a shot. (apologies to the mods if we can't mention threads on TB or anything)
11.
How do you count the number of "watchers"? FWIW I'm reading your thread but I would never buy a Bongo. I don't even like Stingrays and they're pretty! As for the price, anything is worth what someone will pay for it. If you want a grand, leave it up until you get a grand. It might never happen, but you'll never know if you drop the price.
Looking at a Bongo and hearin a Bongo are 2 very different things Absolute monsters of basses. As for the price, if the seller is looking for a particular price, let em. Hope you get what you're looking for man. Translation: BUMP
12. Hi, fancy trading for an ESH Theo Pas'cal 6 string? Search the for sale forum for the info. I'm on my phone so can't paste the info. Cheers.
13. Traded a bass with alembic1989 and I must say everything went very smoothly. Raj is a great guy to deal with. Communication was excellent through Basschat, by email and by phone. Even though it was an overseas deal there were no trust issues and it seemed almost like a face to face deal. I'll stop rambling now so to sum it up, really nice, honest guy and i'd have no trouble dealing with him again or giving him a reference if needs be. All the best, John.
14. Try asking Molan or that guy that knows lots about Spectors. It's ok, i'm already wearing a coat. I'll just leave...

16.
How did you get hold of the Avatars?!
I bought them barely used locally for a decent price. Don't have a clue how they were imported or anything. Nice cabs and light too. I wish they were 4ohm versions but i'll manage
17.
Does it not get confusing with so many knobs? I really like small amps (i own an f1) but that looks like a rather busy front panel.
I agree that the front panel is busy looking but since the majority of the controls are just two identical sets of EQ (one set for each channel), once you get the hang of the EQ it's not at all daunting. The supplied footswitch makes things easier too because you know what channel you're on and whether or not you have some pre-shape EQ on via the very bright blue LEDs on the footswitch. Cheers, John.
