For sale is my immaculate 'as new' condition Roland SH-01 Gaia. I bought this for a project band I was with inbetween bands, so was only used over a 3 month period and has always been stored in a dedicated Roland Gaia gig case. All in all been used very lightly. This synth in my opinion is Roland's finest analogue emulated synth to date, very hands on, lots of sliders and knobs all of which emulate the great roland analogue synthesis of the past. The Synth retails at £509 plus delivery and the dedicated case retails at £90. What I am looking for is £400 for both, which Gives you a saving of £200! includes psu, Manual, original box also. Here is some details from roland site: With its massive sound, hands-on ease, and affordable price, the GAIA SH-01 is a high-performance value with old-school charm. The triple-stacked engine puts potent virtual analog synthesis under your fingertips, yet the control panel is so fun, friendly, and inviting, even first-timers can create great sounds. The signal flow is simple to grasp, with logically arranged knobs, sliders, and buttons. Hands-on control and fat sound make this little powerhouse a joy for music students, songwriters, session players, and live performers of all styles and skill levels. .Huge sound with three virtual analog engines onboard, each with a dedicated oscillator, filter, amplifier, envelope, and LFO Layer up to five simultaneous effects, including distortion, flanger, delay, reverb, low boost, and more 64-voice polyphony for massive sounds without note drop-out Fun, hands-on control panel that's great for instant gratification, and for learning synthesis Lightweight, compact body with 37 full-size keys Runs on AC or battery power for portable convenience D Beam, arpeggiator, and Phrase Recorder onboard USB ports for saving user patches to USB flash drives, and for audio/MIDI connection to computers [a ttachment=77403:gaia_case.JPG]
Bump

Mesa Walkabout Scout Combo 12" 4ohm custom colour
CyberBass posted a topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
For Sale or Trade is my Mesa Walkabout Scout Combo 12" 4ohm version. This is a custom order in a lovely green with beige leather corners and handle and a lovely cream front grill which to the touch feels like wicker, but I haven't seen this style on the mesa site. I bought this off of this site approximately 6 - 8 months ago, and the build and sound quality is great. These are fantastic combo's and don't hang about for long on the 2nd hand market. Mine is in lovely condition, the pics were taken with my iphone so doesn't do it the justice it deserves, even so you can tell how clean it is. reason for sale is, having recently tried some Genz Benz kit, I really would like to change as the genz benz kit paired really well with my kubicki bass and playing style. Here is a link to mesa: http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Bas...t/WalkScout.htm Price wise I paid £800 so will price to sell att: £750 Collected or £775 inc p & p. NOW SOLD -

FOR SALE OR TRADE: Source Audio Multiwave Bass Distortion Pro
CyberBass replied to jackyc123's topic in Effects For Sale
ditto, bought one about a month ago, and its a great pedal, distortion is great live or recorded, doesn't lose bottom end, plus true bypass as well. Great value imho :-)
Just got hold of the non-pro version of this. They're very fun pedals indeed!
-
2mm or 3mm Dunlop Stubbies work for me, when I do use a pick. They're thick, but the edge is hard and roundish and seems very comfortable for me, 8ths, 16ths, triplets whatever... not a problem and have a good grip. Of course, years of pick usage on guitar must have helped, but generally I find thick picks better for bass. The thin ones I just destroy too quickly and have too sharp an attack.
Same for me, 2mm or 3pm Dunlop Stubbies, feel right when playing, been using them for years and don't see myself changing :-)

I use an early one as a rehearsal combo and I really rate it, I have hired it out to people also at my studios and get good feedback, mines mosfet and it gives a nice almost valve warmth, so I would recommend them.

All pm's replied too :-)
Hi guys, Bought this amp from New from PMT Bristol, couple of months ago. I have used it less than a dozen times in my home and have loved it's tone, it's power, but to me it's an expensive luxury considering I just bought myself a mesa 12" Walkabout Scout combo, so need to recoup some money. These really are lovely warm sounding all valve amps, deceivingly loud being an all valve amp and is in absolutely as new condition and not even bedded in. The UK models have come up on this forum, but they are only a limited run of only 100 'Worldwide', so really is an investment for the future. Mine is number 64 of 100. Comes with Kettle lead, certificate etc. I will take some photo's later and post them, but it is immaculate condition. Price I am looking at £320 collected from Bristol or £335 delivered. Any questions please ask away. If your local, please come try it out as you will not be dissapointed. Thanks for looking!
