  1. Effectively a brand new Zoom B1 Four Bass Multi Effects pedal. Bought with the intention to get back into playing again, but never happened. Taken out box to check other than that brand new, warranty card unregistered and still has the sealed batteries in box. Collection from Bristol, can also deliver locally. Can post but additional cost.
  2. Agreed, when it arrives will lemon oil fretboard, give it good service , new strings and set up 👍😊
  3. A bit of a leap would be a Yamaha bx-1 but I’ve already got one lol
  4. Large array tone wise. Sliding the pick up on the rail alters the tone. Looks like a gimmic but surprisingly effective
  5. There are clips on YouTube, but recording quality by the hosts not great. Once it arrives I’ll try and upload some sound clips.
  6. I must admit a quantum is on my bucket list as well 😊
  7. Just pulled trigger in purchasing this Bass. I’ve always fancied one but never got round to it. Having given up a few months ago due to fretting hand not working due to spine operation, I’m getting a little movement back, so treated myself to this as part of my recovery 😊 im sure this will be a marmite bass to many, but personally I love the look.
  8. Ade from Bristol, been playing on and off for over 40 years. Played with original bands all my bass playing time. Played for Open Sore (originall 1977 punk band featured Sean Burke and Barry benn of Tubeway Army. Played the roxy etc. The band featured on the farewell to the roxy album. My highlight was playing Blackpool winter gardens rebellion festival)also played and play for Naked Lunch (some bizarre records) 1980’s depeche mode quote them as being an influence in their autobiography. Earlier in the year I lost use of my fretting hand due to abscess on the spine and got depressed and sold everything as I felt if I couldn’t play then why let good equipment gather dust. my hand is slowly recovering and have started buying again. I have Yamaha bx-1, Westone the rail bass and a Kramer the duke bass. I am looking for a light weight budget rig or combo as I have been invited by Naked Lunch to play some shows so will go through house:venue pa but would be nice to have something on stage. Unfortunately I don’t have much budget due to being on ssp since March and only just started going back to work. I hope my hand is up to playing the show/s either way it’s given me a goal. anyway enough of my ramblings and hi everyone 👍😊

  18. The surgeon said that abscess was large and the compression could have caused damage to the nerves affecting the left hand side. As a result of the surgery there is scarring and still infection within surrounding spine. He said there is hope that my hand may recover, but no guarantee it will or to what extent it will recover. I’m working hard each day physio wise and I get a lot of pain from what I can only guess at nerves trying to engage with fingers. It’s like pins and needles on fire. i am hopeful but at the same time fearful.
