2.
This is cool advice guys never tht of mixing the bass to one side or the other.
No he means move the guitars and if ur using a drumkit, the overhead and tom mics from one side to the other. The other thing i will say is it could sound muddy because ur direct output might just be your bass signal so u can plug it into other amps and that. So i would reccomend either of 2 things here: 1. get a direct box (such as a sansamp bass driver) 2. get a mic and a soundcard, if ur going for the old-skool option. you could also buy a moddling interface such as line6 pod or guitarrig software but these are probably a bit expensive if you only want one sound.
 3. how is a massive pic of a warwick, a musicman and a fender jazz NOT porn!?? Pure thecks!!!
 4. when u said won i thoght u actually got it for free from a competition. I was about to go green
 5.
Rack + SVT810E + Spector REX 2000/5
that's one of the basses i'm looking at getting, can u say what they're like in terms of sound/playability etc...
 6. sounds like another jazz copy from a long defunkt company. I doubt you will find any info on t'internet but these jap copies are usually as good or better quality then their american counterparts at the time, imo. Unforturnately their prices don't usually reflect that.
 7. what do u exepct? it's a squier ! I hear they're decent tho. i was tempted to get 1 actually, but then i decided i have too many cheap basses. Time to save up for a 70's jazz bass methinks!
 8.
Actually tony and nick use 8 4x12s and three jc120 combos between them so they can fire back!!!! 12.
It's very nice to play. It's actually completely hollow, which makes it a bit different to most basses that are described as 'semi'.
ah i see, well i have a pic of a sunburst 1 as my desktop right now, u might be intrested in knowing.
 13. what are those squiers with the big humbuckers like? i was tempted to get 1 *edited out swearing - Luke*

 16. well i only have 2 atm a 4 and a 5, but i want more because of tunings. U see a lot of the songs i write are in different tunings and the guitarrist in our band has this big obsession with playing stuff in the right key (and he can't tune by ear either.) So ill have to have basses for that purpouse, i was planning on getting a 5 string for standard/drop D/B/Drop A stuff, 1 bass for same thing but flat and a bass for C tuning. so that would be 2 5's and a 4. Then i would probably want to get different basses for standard and drop tunings so that would give me 2 more basses and then i would want backups so that would be 3 MORE basses. Of course in between that i would want to get a 6 string, an acoustic, a semi hollow and maybe a fretless aswell. So it really adds up quicky.
anything more than 1 is too many!
ur just jeallous
 17.
so it would end up being an excuse to buy yet another instrument...
nothing like an excuse to buy an instrument
 18.
I have mocked up a Sadowsky I found with pretty much how I want it.
where did you find this shadowsky? I WANT ONE!!!
 19. I really want to get some rack gear (preamps, FX, wireless etc...) a 4X10" and 8X10" cabs, a couple of tube amp heads and a USA series Peavey (pref. a milenium but a cirrus would be good also)
 20.
The guys in the band said they couldn,t hear me!!!!
probably b/c they're all deaf
