  1. To my knowledge mate all Sadowsky 5 strings have 19mm bridge string spacing. Happy to be wrong though 👍
  2. Do you mind if I ask why you let it go? It just looks so awesome and I'm imagining it doesn't sound too shabby.
  3. I saw this when BassBros had it on their website and was blown away by the looks. The only thing stopping me is I have the 24 fret active 5-string thing covered by my current stable. You speak well of it so is it a case of just wanting to try something else?
  4. RBX765A model 👍
  5. I have a 2006 one of these identical to this other than it's entirely stock. I'll never sell it. You don't like this anymore? I I can't imagine being without it
  6. Sorry your plans didn't work out. It was me who traded this to Bass Direct at the start of the year after buying it used. The factory gig-bag was already missing. I like the idea of trying different basses but when all is said and done I'm just too in love with my Warwicks. For all those Stingray 5 fans, do yourself a favour and buy this bass to save hundreds on an American one (I've owned a few of those). The difference in price is no indicator to how good these "cheaper" Stingrays actually are in feel and more importantly, sound.
  7. An inch or two longer and a maple fretboard...
  8. VERY nice gesture indeed. I too hope it goes to someone who'll actually use it 👍
  9. I would have kept this bass and not traded it to Bass Direct if I could have gotten along with the 17.5mm string spacing and narrow neck. Nothing else sounds like a Stingray but personally I prefer more "land" on a neck. It's perfect for many though so it's all subjective.
  10. This was my old bass before I traded it to Bass Direct. I've had USA Stingray fivers and this is essentially the same thing.
  11. Thanks. I saw it has a 9v pre-amp in the description but I'm asking if it's active/passive switchable please?
  12. Hi dude. I couldn't tell from the pictures if the bass has any strap pins fitted. Is the pre-amp active/passive? I didn't notice a battery either.
  13. Lee650 probably meant a separate passive tone knob like the Sadowsky VTC for example.Great bass still.
  14. Too narrow for me but thanks a lot for checking
  15. Hi dude. The string spacing measurements you've quoted were taken from the bridge saddles or higher up? 14mm between B and E string sounds pretty tight. Regards. Terry.
  16. That's very helpful indeed thank you
  17. What's the nut width please? Also is the preamp push/pull active-passive?
  18. Thanks Joe. So this means the passive tone on the pre amp doesn't push-pull for passive mode. The pickups are single coil or hum-cancelling? I had my heart set on a used Sadowsky but keep coming back to look at this... Regards. Terry.
