1. Mustang Sally? Actually stray cat strut probably sounds better on both by stray cats . Summer in the city maybe ? White room by cream ?
2. Nice bass, great price. 80s ,yes 70s not sure
3. This thread is good...fingerlickin' good .
4. My washburn status got customised by accident. After the frying eggs, and the radio signals I was receiving, the bass is now passive. Same pickups, but the active circuitry was removed bynGraham Noden in Denmark street. I also had to have a switchcraft jack fitted , as I damaged the original . The band I was in loved the new sound. Washburn status are very bright sounding basses
5.
I love living where I do. There are approximately 15 sites within about a 3 mile radius that have outdoor mini festivals every year. Most Friday and Saturday nights in the summer I can sit in my back garden, sipping a beer, and listen to live music. I get to hear anything from unsigned originals band and pub covers bands(a fair share of tribute bands too) right through to bands you used to love but thought had split up decades ago. A couple of years ago Tyketto headlined on the Saturday night, and the wind was in just the right direction, that it wouldn't have been much clearer if I'd been sitting in my lounge listening to a live recording. I've often wondered what some of my less music loving neighbours think of it, but we think it's brilliant. Oh, and before someone asks why, if I love listening to the local live music so much, why don't I get a ticket and go? That's the plan for next year once the kids are old enough to enjoy it.
Cool!
6. Maybe this should be in the fun video thread

12.
For sale or trade. As new. I've just recently taken delivery of this bass at a cost of £700. 2013 Fender 50's classic P bass in gorgeous Honey Blonde paint, Alder body, Maple fretboard, Anodised Gold pick guard, vintage low mass bridge, vintage reverse tuners. Comes with it's original deluxe fender gig bag or I have a better quality LakLand gig case you can have with it if you want. Condition: MINT/New!! Not a mark, ding, dent, fingerprint, swirl anywhere on this bass. It is as new/unused. It's had a total of probably 20 minutes use (testing it). The bass is fully professionally set up, ready to go. Action is Mid/Low. Great action, very nice neck. Beautiful to play. Pino, P-Bass, warm, groove with tone rolled off and barky, burpy funk goodness with the tone up full. Put a set of flats on it and its a different beast. And it's possibly one of the nicest looking basses on the market place. and just look at it... it looks the absolute bees knees!! I should keep this but I've got a couple of basses arriving soon so I need to slim down my flock. Price is £550. (Not £600 as stated in the header) It's a new bass as you can see from the pictures. Trades: Anything Fender USA/JAP or Squier 80's JV/SQ with cash adjustments either way. No old dogs though please. Looked after basses only. Bank Transfer/PayPal/Cash on collection please. Beautiful bass. Grab it while its here. Bass is located in Northampton. Any trial welcome. J.
