Sold

Line6 Bass Pod XT LIve. Everything 'as it should be', comes with original packaging, manual, power supply. (Pics to follow) £150 + £10 delivery.
  5. There are two small allen screws on the top side of the bridge. Loosen these and the individual saddles can be raised, lowered and slid backwards and forwards. ... On mine anyway! Hope this helps.
  6. I went on a similar quest a couple of years ago, when I decided I needed something lighter. I was happy with the sound of my Trace gear, but my back had had enough! I have bought, and sold lots (too many!) amps and cabs before settling with my current rig. As has already been mentioned "The world is your oyster"... it is also a potential minefield. On reflection, it might have been easier to change cabs first, then replace the amp? There are quite a few lighweight 15's out there, but don't dismiss the possibility of a good pair of 12's. Good luck.
  7. LM2 + VT pedal does it for me. The VT is permanently 'on', and with just a gentle nudge covers any sound I need.

    DIY cabs
. You'll need something to cut the hole for the driver though.
A standard JigSaw will do the job just fine.... If you take your time!
  9. I bought a BassPod from Patch. It arrived in excellent condition and when promised. Thanks mate!
  10. I owned a GT6 for a while. The synths on mine didn't work well, they sounded similar to your description..... kind of like they were cutting in and out. Just a thought.... Try playing a guitar through the unit and see what happens!

    12" Cabs.
Here's one that I've just finished. I used Eminence's design (from their website) for a small vented cab for bass guitar using the DeltaLite II. Sounds good and weighs 12.5 kgs. Thanks to MykeT for his help
Nice Job! How would you describe the sound?
  12.
Have you thought about a 2 x 12?
I am fairly sure that to get true 'full range' you will need a crossover system with seperate drivers for lows, mids and highs. I am more than happy with my 2 x 12" cabs, but..... They are not 'full range'.
  13.
1) No tools 2) Having me do any kind of wood working is like getting a crab to ice skate at olympic standard! :-D Si
Surely learning is all part of the fun? ....Or talk to a certain Mr.C, I am sure that he can sort you out. I would doubt if there are many cabs out there that are more 'full range' than his BigOne.
  14.
Go DIY! Alright, it's not the 'easy life' option. But I decided what speakers I fancied (Fane Sovereigns) and then found an enclosure that would suit them, according to WinISD. In my instance, I was able to reuse some PA cabs that were pretty much perfect and only cost me £30 off the 'bay. Like I say, it's not a quick win - but I had a lot of fun doing it.
+1 You end with exactly what you want/need! The knowledge is all here on BC.....
  15. Having tried many cabs over the past year, or so...... The 'BigOne' is the only one I would truly describe as 'Full range'. (Assuming that you really want 'Full range').
  16. Mike bought my ABM115 cab. Great guy to deal with. Thanks mate, and enjoy the cab!
  17.
.......... Like I said I used it Saturday and was blown away with the sound. Other band members comments were also positive.
And that is really all that matters!
  18.
yeah?
Seriously, I will be selling my Dyna. PM me and I'll send you some pics.
  19.
Actually scrap the 'no trades' bit. Anyone willing to do a straight swap for a Harley Dyna is more than welcome to message me!
I'll take it as a part/ex on my Dyna Custom.
  20. Ian.... I know that you said 'without a pedal', but.... LM2 + VT does it for me! Small, light, loud and versatile.
  21.
PM sent
.... And replied to.
  22. Still for sale. Now £150 including delivery!
  23.
Oh you're in Cornwall...... Whereabouts? I could be interested...... wonder if there is anything I could tempt you to trade with....
PM'd
