  1. I'll ask first: What, in this context, are micro-balloons?
  2. The only two acceptable answers to that question are "Wendslydale" and "Adadoo, by Black Lace"
  3. Welcome aboard! Lots of 5s in the marketplace....
  4. Sounds like a different design of strap button is needed, something with a wide flange against the body to protect the finish. Hope you find something, or can get something made up. Lots of folks on here own lathes...
  5. The Line 6 looks fun! I really need to get the rota swap sorted so I can come down.
  6. I have other plans. Involving a black balaclava, chloroform, and a fast car...
  7. I have a couple of Dunlop type straplocks you can have if you PM me your address. Like these: https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/dunlop-lok-strap-retainer-system-3-pack No longer need them as I have a massively thick leather strap.
  8. Sounds like huge fun! We had the induction of a new minister on Saturday which was a great celebration service. I had no responsibilities whatsoever, so could just join in the worship. 🥳
  9. The bass is fabulous, of couse, but just look at the workshop organisation! A bass hanger in front of the toolbard and everything in place! If I can't arrange legitimate swaps then I may just log in and hack the church rotas so I can be there!
  10. Fabulous. I shall try to get that into a conversation 😁
  11. The challenge for the week is to get that phrase into a work or social conversation this week.
  12. I think I have a Pi knocking about somewhere. No idea what generation or spec it is, but if I can find it and it's suitable then it's yours.
  13. Leave the sides and curves blue, it looks really cool like that!
  14. Welcome aboard! How has the live music scene in Toronto recovered since 2020/21?
  15. Noooo!! Don't do it! Welcome aboard, you'll fit right in here 😅
  16. No idea what I'll bring. Most folks have seen the Brawleys, and while they are decent mid-range basses and rare in the UK, they aren't especially valuable or exciting.
  17. Consider a Pauper's Pittance 'guvnor? Cost a' livin's gorn up an' all that.
