My main bass (a Brawley 5 string) was £450 s/h. I can't justify anything more as the bass is much better than I am, or probably will ever be, and I only play at home or in church. However there is an Ovation Magnum 1 on Reverb at around £2,600 that I really would like to own, but don't need. So to me that's an expensive bass. Those who gig regularly will have different criteria, and it's been interesting reading the views here.

The '72 vintage wasn't available on Spotify so went with the '78.

Not heard Twisted Sister since school days! I picked "Silver Bells" from this album, as there were no other versions of that song on the playlist.

That comes up on a Spotify search, but greyed out so the track isn't available. It is on YT though, and it is both weird and strange. But unlike the R2D2 song you won't need therapy afterwardsn

The hotel I am staying in for work has almost no 3/4/5G signal and I can't connect to the WIFI 😭 Keep 'em coming and I will add them to the playlist when I get enough bandwidth.

You didn't say if your singer is male or female, or if your guitarist is rhythm or lead or both. These are maybe less well known and probably work best for female leads.
