1.
What is the idea between the two strap buttons?
So that it can stand up.
2. My old lefty S2 plays like nothing else, really even all over the board and quite light but the eq and pups are to my ears a bit average, nothing that a bit of tweaking can't sort out but I wonder if the new pickup spacing and mid eq feature will help things. It's all down to personal taste.
3. Nice bass. http://www.status-graphite.com/status/frames/index_home.html Status are making some really interesting bits of kit.
4.
Get to it then! Seriously, if you put your time into expression, space and time, rather than notes, you'll find that obsession for finding 'interesting' notes becomes much less important or pertinent to your becoming an expressive bassist. You will also find playing the simplest of bass lines immensely rewarding.
Well said, my friend.
5. Ha, it's him on the bike, too, he lives in Spain.
6. That's f***ing sick. I'm right in the mood for a bit of this.
7. Is that Gary Willis?
8. Great basses. I had one, a righty I played upside down, in about 1985. Sold it to raise funds for another bass. I bought a real lefty version a few months ago, in mint condition and they are still cool basses.
9. I've got one of his old S2 basses. Very nice bass and a lovely guy to talk with. I strung a Jazz bass up BEAD for him, to show that there were no ill effects to the neck.
10. Very nice, Mr Fretbuzz.
11. What's the weight and string spacing on this thread?
12. if only this thread were 5 string, I'd be on it in a heartbeat. LOLZ Bump.
13. ESP Surveyor. Very good basses.
14. Either red combat shirt, or red combat shirt.
15. I'm easy to spot, you can tell me by the way I walk.
16. I would like to think they'd be cool about it. I love Mark King, BTW.

18.

Totally brilliant.
19. Nice.
20. Do whatever suits your life. If you want bass playing to be your life, you will spend more time with your guitar and more importantly, other musicians. If not, then enjoy all the time you spend making music.
21.
My point is steve-soar, there seems to be a huge up-charge by Warwick for this which they seem to make out they're the good guys when I expect all they're doing is buying from another supplier who has the certification (please correct me if I am wrong anyone). I was not referencing furniture - most of mine is passed down too.
Call me Steve. That is just what I've been doing in my previous posts. The upcharge is shocking. On everything. BTW, was because of the corny joke, nowt else.
22.
I suppose it's not like the stuff grows on trees is it ?
23. Just looking at the vision stagergies of FSC, I fully support this. Keeping the biodiversity of all forests is essential. Cheap flooring and furniture demand in Japan, USA and Europe is responsible for a lot of the illeagal logging. Recycling is what we should be doing with our wood and furniture. In our home we have the wifes grandma's bedroom furniture set, including the bed, all of our wardrobes and draws are old, we have original flooring in this Victorian house and our dining room furniture is all recycled, from family of other sources. I treat wood as something magical and very precious, to waste it is very sad. Stupid hippy.
