1. Hahahahahahaha!!! Sunday afternoon, Birkenhead, a little stroll down the road, film, pub, home.
2. Superb.
3. I know, I know but he is one of the greatest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUFQlYIsciQ
4. Love the Early Tapes stuff.
5. S2 user, here. Get one, have a blast. This is great.
6.
Its not an explorer, but heres a lefty EB2 on ebay now http://www.ebay.com/...=item4d05c10a40
It's been converted, though.
7. ACG. With an 01 preamp. Try one if you can get a Basschatter to let you have a go. Having said that, I traded mine for a Musicman Stingray, 1980. The ACG was 6 string, too much for me.
8.
Donald Fagen 'Nightfly' a great album, some very tasty marcus work, not to mention Chuck Rainey, Will Lee and Anthony Jackson. The Album is bass heaven!!
Amen.
9. The only lefty Gibson bass I know about, is a 5 string Thundebird.
10. Same here, great price.
11. Almost annoying as piles. Lame vid, too.
12. Tech and performance are two seperate things. Good music can use both in very creative ways.
13. Fantastic. I get it now.
14. I agree. As I said, great sounds and I'd like to see you live as I think it's very inventive. But your band name is really intriguing and the music you make is strange and beautiful. Do you not think the vid could be more along the same lines?
15.
Been a while since I posted my pedalboard... Check it out in our new music vid!!!
Some great sounds but it's not really a "Music Vid", more of an advert for the brands you use. Which is ok, by the way.
16. Watching with much interest. Very cool.
17. Probably only a tiny bit of a glow, as the SVT 4 only has preamp valves. It's the SVT 2, CL and AV amps that have power amp valves. They do give a nice warm glow. As does your face when lifting one onto your cab.
18. Cheers Daz. As soon as I've finished this, I'll be passing it on to Jacqueslemac. Looking forward to this. I'll have a look and see what I can pass on.
19.
My first proper band, many moons ago...
Great for a dreamy Sunday afternoon.
20.
Hi, I've Uploaded it onto a Soundcloud that i use, for want of a better word, for solo stuff. The track is called Broken Wing. Also the band was called Crank, not Dreaded Ted and The Nutters. Here is the link (hope it works) http://soundcloud.co...ted/broken-wing
Neurotic pop, dub, art metal, stadium. Phew!
21. If you want to come around here, Tranmere, sometime tomorrow, I'll show you how to do it. Steve.
22. There was a 66 lefty Jazz, Fiesta Red matching headstck, in Vintage And Rare a few years back, I should have bought it but some French guy bought it.
23. Sleep when your dead. My daughters mum and I had her when I was 22, still rehearsed and gigged and toured for years while she was growing up. 2 things I missed was big chunks of seeing her develop and a regular comfy bed. If you really want to play, you will. But not getting enough sleep is grim. It's that long ago that I've forgotten about how it must have felt surviving on 2-3 hours kip a day. Get off Basschat and get yer head down. Good luck.
24. I did some repairs on one of these and was really impressed by the overall quality , playability and sound. The Kubicki pre is incredible. Is this a good price? If so It's a heads up for a great bass. Too bad it's right handed.
