  1. The ramp on one of my jazzes goes between the pickups, it doesn’t affect the sound
  2. I don’t know much about that sort of thing but does that mean the pickup would need to be rewound
  3. Hi, welcome
  4. I don’t think it had any red originally, didn’t they do a tobacco burst back then
  5. Hi ,mark at Talkingbass.net would be my recommendation too , good luck Paul just to add, Dan Hawkins has some very good material to look through too
  6. I saw that, you would have thought they would have fixed it before listing, unless they wanted to keep it all original by not changing anything?
  7. Thanks for sharing, I remember when that came out, such a great bassline to play, it’s been posted before but this is one of my favourite videos
  8. Thanks t-h ill check that out
  9. Welcome Jazzy
  10. I’ve always really liked this but never got around to learning it properly , I’m having to break it down slowly into small sections as it moves around quite a bit , great Bassline though
  11. No problem Myke, thank you for doing this in the first place 🙏
  12. Lovely
  13. Great one, haven’t heard that in a long time, I think the album I remember the most from back then is Handsworth Revolution, and probably one of their most known tracks is this, Prediction is a good one too
  14. Back to 1980 tonight with this one, it was in the uk charts
  15. As much as you try and convince me.. I’m not buying the album 😁
  16. I’ve got one of these, so good for the money
  17. I heard that shaking stevens at pontins was busy
  18. Some of may know Johnny Osbourne, he’s recently released a new album and is still touring and still sounds great aged 75 , if you’ve still got it then don’t stop
  19. I was just going to ask the same question 😁, it looks good but he won’t post it, good luck
  20. Always use 2 alternating, I’ve never played anything fast enough to have to use 3
  21. Nice work, this should be pinned somehow for future reference
  22. Hi eloisa and welcome, thanks for sharing that , great Bassline there, nice tune
  23. I played precision’s first for a long time and then got hooked on jazzes for many years, I’m now back to precision’s for 2 reasons, 1 , i like the simplicity and 2 , I really like the sound, if I’m after a smoother deeper sound I use the jazzes, I think it’s good to have both, I don’t have much experience with squire , maybe try some US ones and see what you think
