  1. Did you manage to get the P body meterman
  2. It just clicks on or off really, I just like a gadget 😁, you can’t beat a bit of tone foam
  3. Thanks, it was just a bit of a project to mess around with but it came out quite a good player, the tonerider pickups in it is something I’d recommend, and pretty cheap too, it’s The Bassmute by the bridge, https://www.bassmute.eu/bm_mainframe.html
  4. Yeah, in my experience they are interchangeable, this is a mex P body with an older jazz neck I liked the feel of, it fitted fine, can’t remember if the screw holes were exact but that’s something you could overcome
  5. The Ampeg Venture V3 head is fairly small and a great looking amp, not sure if the V7 is the same size Width(in/mm) - 9.09/231 Depth (in/mm) - 10.52/267.1
  6. What’s wrong with being a fan of a certain bass, just curious , I only play fender jazzes and precisions now after owning many other basses, they feel comfortable to me
  7. I’ve been there and drive past it regularly, seems a shame it’s all boarded up now
  8. Perhaps I should have said bass players I know 🙂
  9. I don’t think I know anybody without one 🤔
  10. That must have been one of the heaviest tunes around back in the day, I remember hearing it at sound systems around Leyton , dub version too , warrior charge was another
  11. Been working on this, it’s a good one for me to practice keeping in the pocket , easy to trip up though
  12. Has to be among one of my favourite Peter Tosh tracks, pick myself up, and this is such a great video
  13. Recent one by Ted, his T40 sounds great
  14. Welcome Kelly
  15. I quite like a bit of ESG now and again, some interesting grooves on this album
  16. I don’t normally like refinishes but this looks quite nice what Will has at Bassbros https://search.app/KJnP1Lj3vPjRdWUh7
  17. Cruising through Whitechapel listening to this
  18. I narrowed down my vintage basses a few years back , I’m down to just one a 71 precision which I play mostly, I think the wear and tear goes with the territory as they are normally around 50 - 60 years old and that’s the price you pay to play something pretty special , I take mine anywhere because it’s there to be played , I will be buying more if something catches my attention
  19. Same here, mine is working just fine as before, only difference is it asked me a question to add to the login, which I choose as my 2FA
  20. Just used the 2FA to re login, works just fine
  21. Cool, I’ve found the nordymutes do a great job when your looking that certain sound , and they easily lift on or off
  22. Love that 😁 , congrats it looks like a beauty
