  1. As long as I’ve known them their prices have been unrealistic, perhaps it’s another way to advertise their studio
  2. Looks like Essex recording studios bought the entwistle 72 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186347875698?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=I6kQUce0SWq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=1wDkd4CjTIi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  3. That’s lovely, I bet he doesn’t want to give it back 😁
  4. Bassbros have got a nice 73 jazz in , not all original but looks good https://bassbros.co.uk/product/1973-fender-jazz-bass-5/
  5. Check this out, truly a great performance, especially liking No more trouble 8.45 and Jerusalem 16.02
  6. Hi Mickey, I’ve just had a look and found these, pretty sure they are off one of my old jazzes when I changed to vintage saddles, I can send a few different ones for you to try if you want
  7. That’s a lot of dollar, $25k works out nearly 20k
  8. What’s the price
  9. Amazing condition for the year, quite special
  10. That’s quite a cat-astrophe
  11. Not even a hot apple crumble with ice cream 😋
  12. Thanks ez, loneark have got quite a variety of different styles, it’s worth a look if you’ve got the time and some good artists on there too
  13. Normal reggae service has been resumed with this new one from Loneark , I think it has an old school vibe and a new bass player to me, Ras Brasz Aleixo, I think he’s in the Reggae - Bush Doctors
  14. Both wonderful setups, especially the bassman 👌
  15. Ok, I’ve been catching up on Bunny Wailers album , Rock and groove, this is the title track and such a great Bassline, the album is worth a listen if you haven’t already heard it
  16. I don’t watch Fox News and didn’t really take it seriously, thanks for doing some research eloisa
  17. Oh no, very sad 😔
  18. Is it a 77 maple neck precision?
  19. I see what you’re saying, not sure if it’s the value so much for me but I get nervous above 10k for a bass , I’m sure someone else will buy them
  20. I can’t see them going down any time soon myself, the big jump I noticed has been over the last 3 years or so and I think the more desirable all original ones seem to be selling well in Europe, collectors maybe, I don’t know, theres 2 I’d like at the moment , a mint 68P at Walt Grace Vintage but crazy price, and a 64 jazz at ATB but at 20k , no thanks
  21. Thanks tegs, my youngest isn’t really and neither are any of his friends, it doesn’t seem to be on their radar, even though he’s heard it since he was born, but my eldest loves it and regularly sends me the newer tunes, quite a few of them are remixes of the original songs
  22. Thank you very much Frank for your kind words, it’s much appreciated 🍻, it’s great that the thread ticks along with big thanks to everyone who post their music , and if anyone ever wants to listen to a bit of reggae it’s always there to look through , I think it’s essential to spread the music and keep reggae alive
  23. A bit late but welcome Kowad
  24. Unless you need the money I’d definitely keep the 71, mine is going nowhere, I don’t know much about electrics but maybe change the capacitor on the Sandberg as mentioned, I’ve done that and it does make a difference, or move the Sandberg on and get a vintage reissue precision for live work, they really are great
