  2. Nice work 👍
  3. Top job 👍
  4. I know someone here had a really cool batman one , but I can’t remember who it was 🙂
  5. Really nice Bassline on this Dennis Bovell track great rhythm
  6. I think you’re right, if it’s a bit cold or there’s moisture present it will get what looks like almost white patches on the surface, it can be nibbed back and re sprayed, maybe put a heater down there while you’re working 🙂
  7. Not sure if this helps but, Next to my joinery shop there was a spray shop , and I’ve seen that happen to some of the finishes in there, it was caused by a drop in temperature while drying, not sure if that happened to yours, but it should be warm and constant while drying, they had to re sand it using fine contour pads and re spray 🙂
  8. Chocolate sundae with hundreds and thousands please 😋
  9. I don’t normally like black block inlays, but this is rather nice, and the pickguard is so cool
  10. The one on the right looks well cool ☝️
  11. I bought a Yamaha 415 last year, 1 to try a 5 string , and 2 to try a Yamaha, and for me the notes were the easy part because I know my fretboard, but at first I regularly hit the wrong string, especially if the Bassline involved quite a bit of string crossing , it took a lot of practice to rectify it . Imo, the best thing to do would be to put the 4 away and just use the 5 until you’re happy with your playing, and then you can switch between them whenever you want 🙂
  12. Spider bass does a good cover of uptown funk here 🙂
  13. Yeah sure ☝️
  14. Hi and welcome, you might be better posting your videos here 👍
  15. There’s a video here by Josh fossgreen you may find helpful , I’ve also got a good one on intervals, I’ll try to find it 🙂
  16. My bass room has the tumble dryer in and miss RB also on occasions puts the clothes drying rail in there in bad weather, I’ve got 8 basses around with another 6 in cases , and all my equipment, everything has been fine for years , the tumble dryer is a condensing one, so no moisture goes into the air 🙂
  17. Very nice, top job, really nice grain on the neck ☝️
  18. Before I bought my custom I played about 6 or 7 of them in PMT , and the thing I noticed most was how nice the necks were to play, that was the selling point for me , which one did you get Andy 🙂
  19. 2 quick grip clamps on the side edge of the neck , one at the top and one at the bottom would locate the fingerboard, and stop it moving from side to side , this type
  20. I’m following this with interest, Theres some really great advice here , @stewblack whatever you decide to do, if you need a router to do the work, I’ll post one to you with the cutters , and return it whenever you want 👍
  21. Congrats on your new bass, any pics 🙂, When you say it sounds slappy and metallic, is it buzzing on the upper frets when you fret the notes or is the actual sound metallic.
