  1. Looking forward to hearing this, I’ve heard the original concert but I’m guessing the edited version will be really good , and apparently by using an app you can also see some of the footage that was filmed in the prison
  2. Maybe ask here MBA, I think a few people have
  3. Same for me too, I like the 38-40 ish, my AV62 P is 44 which is ok but I prefer slightly less
  4. Got a reply, All original apart from the brass nut which was fitted later, the nut measures at 44mm, quite surprised at the 44, every 70s ones I’ve had and played have been 40-42
  5. Weight doesn’t matter to me, strangely I don’t mind a heavy bass
  6. Same here, I enquired yesterday but no response yet, ill let you know
  7. Bass direct have got a 78 P in, it says the nut is 44mm , I’ve never seen this on a 78 or maybe a miss measure https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/product/fender-precision-bass-white-1978-pre-owned/
  8. Another new one from don chandler
  9. I remember it being there and I don’t think 6k was a bad price for the year, I was kinda tempted to go and have a look but I’m not really into refinishes, and I think it was quite a distance from me
  10. Talking of maple fingerboards recently, Andy Baxter has just put up a lovely 72 P, great condition https://www.andybaxterbass.com/products/1972-fender-precision-bass-sunburst-2
  11. I don’t have FB , bit of a long shot but would PayPal work
  12. Mellow one this morning from Lloyd Jones , so many versions to this but I like this one
  13. I saw that this morning, looks really nice and in good condition
  14. The ones I like are the sunburst maple with the black blocks, the Aston Barrett style, a friend of mine sold their one a while back and didn’t even tell me
  15. I never really used to look at maple fingerboards, I’ve always gone for rosewood, but I’m quite liking them now , I think I need one 😁
  16. Bassbros have got a nice 73 P in , if it had the original pickups I’d have been tempted https://bassbros.co.uk/product/1973-fender-precision-bass-6/
  17. Veering off topic here 😁, but one of my local shops does a donner kebab pizza
  18. Same here, after many many amps it’s the one I’ve settled on, can’t see me using anything else in the future
  19. If a precision or jazz came up with the exact date month and year on the neck stamp I’d be seriously tempted to buy it, but I haven’t seen one yet
  20. the pf50 through the same cab the big baby ll can go fairly loud but I’d say the v4 is much louder, it has a different sound though, a bit hard to explain, the eq works really well and you can get a nice warm tone, great with a precision
  21. Very nice ped 👌
  22. Hi BA, I’d say no, the V4 is louder
