    My Yamaha was perfectly playable mick, it’s just that I play with a really low action, and it just wouldn’t go quite low enough for me, if the neck is straight it might be okay

    I’ve had 2 basses with maxed truss rods, both from eBay, and in my case nothing worked to rectify them, it’s something I always check now if I can

    Really nice bass and I’m not familiar with them, the crack is probably stable , but the fact that it’s there would put me off 🙂
