  1. Hi Rob, if you want to have a read this is what I use sometimes, at the top click on cases , custom colours is good too http://www.guitarhq.com/fender.html#serial
  2. The fourth one down has the small r above the letter R, which was used from 72, the second one down doesn’t have it, that was used from 66
  3. I don’t think I’ve ever played a Fodera, I’d like to just to see if they are worth the price tag
  4. Yeah I noticed that too, I’m guessing it’s a 66/67 case , but you’re right you never know
  5. Really like this, if it was in the uk I’d be having a look and play, 68 with a B neck, I think it would work out too much to import, I’ll try to post the link https://search.app/rKVQqHoJwn2aD5PA8
  6. Cool, yeah that’s the one
  7. This one has come up a few times on a few reggae forums I’ve been on, not sure of the brand and a custom order I think
  8. Hi, sorry if I’ve missed it but are the bodies solid wood, only asking as I bought an old Hohner Precision a few years back from a studio to restore for a bit of fun and it was plywood, turned out it wasn’t very nice really and I gave it away in the end
  9. Some of my labella’s are over 20 years old and still intonate ok, perhaps other brands are different
  10. I bought warrior charge when it first came out and I’ve still got it, fantastic track and so is the B side Dub charge, I’ve been to see Aswad many times and they were great ,but the last time I saw them they didn’t have a band , they were singing over backing tracks, I left after about 20 minutes , very disappointing
  11. Great bass and I wouldn’t say no at that price, good luck
  12. Thanks msb, I’ve seen a few pictures of your setup and it looks wonderful, I will get one eventually, mainly for home use
  13. Looks good, I saw it on gumtree too
  14. I was going through some early Ernest Wilson and really like this track, backed by the revolutionaries And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better along came the Michael rose version and Joseph Cotton with the same riddim
  15. Absolutely, I always take my old ones off if ever I sell a bass
  16. They sound like labella 760FS , nice
  17. Which flats are they ead
  18. 11 year old flats are perfect for me, just breaking in nicely
  19. Jacob Miller from around 1980 great tune And another riddim
  20. My rm500 never sounded good through headphones, quite a lot of interference, I use the NUX pro for headphones now
  21. I can’t help myself looking at the Jule Monique preamp, lovely thing
  22. Look forward to seeing what you got 👍, I’ve been browsing early 70s jazz’s again lately myself but not many around with the maple and black blocks
