  1. And the dub version of Black Star Liner , great mix
  2. You are going to thank me for this one 😁, I’m gonna take you back to the sound system days, heavy Bassline
  3. @2020Jazz how are you getting on with your swap
  4. I’m no expert btw 🙂, I only use flats and I like an incredibly low action, it sounds like the higher tension has pulled the neck a bit further forward, a few tweaks to the truss rod should do the trick
  5. Great bass and a great price, GLWYS mr skinnyman 👍
  6. I don’t drink anymore, last time I went past it was a bit more of a pub/ restaurant , looks nice
  7. That used to be my local 🙂
  8. Sky arts at 10 o clock tonight, The Who, at the Albert hall , I don’t mind a few of their songs
  9. Might be some info of use here @NHM 🙂
  10. I found this in another thread, it wouldn’t let me post the link , I think they are still available and it looks like it might be an option 🙂

  12. Everybody knows a P bass with flats is the best way to be raised 😁
  13. That’s cool Greg, yeah I’d say he’s the best reggae teacher out there , he’s got a lot of experience 🙂
  14. Great track, nice Bassline by Earl Falconer, it was off their second album , Present Arms I think, the first was Signing Off which I bought when it came out, and I’ve still got it 🙂
  15. You can play more than James jamerson on a P bass, and I recommended flats because they are softer on young fingers
  16. Squier do a mini precision , and flats are smoother, which might be better 🙂
  17. I don’t know how many were pressed, but it was only for a short while 🙂
  18. Keep your eye out for any pink rim island pressings, they are highly collectible , this one of Kaya is from Nigeria, it’s not mine btw 😁
  19. They seem to be a bit of a mystery, its like they just came and went 🙂
  20. I do like a bit of Mikey Dread 👍, I’m going through a few channel 1 tracks , great Bassline on this by the revolutionaries and this by the soulsville all stars who I know little about, this is the B side of Bondage, any info on them greatly appreciated
  21. Don Chandler is the best out there IMO, and so is Jamaican bassist Glen Browne , has a channel, he’s worked with lots of top reggae bands over the years , he’s the bass player for Tarrus Riley, the Browne family are are all in the music industry, very chilled and informative lessons
