Guitar Technical Services Warwick Reviews?

Could be me but didn't find them when searching that topic. -
True. The 70US models have that B profile (the between one you mention). My favourite profile and all my basses have that profile. You are right, the 50's necks are wider.
-
It's undoubtedly a fine bass and seems to have been considered but the OP cannot collect (or meet up).
-
Ok. I just wanted to be sure you weren't buying one without seeing if the neck suited your hand. The US-suffixed models are better ones because they have alder bodies (not that there's anything wrong with basswood) and US spec pickups and hardware. Anther option is the Tokai Hardpuncher which is just as good as a Fender Japan.

Not only does he sing it, but he co-wrote with Ian Kewley the keyboard player (who passed away about a week ago, I understand) -

Excellent shout. I nearly put this up myself. -
Yes, the carrier will bring the items in and then you pay them the VAT etc before they deliver.

Has anyone played in a band with a sibling?
Steve Browning replied to Barking Spiders's topic in General Discussion
I used to play in a big band (a rehearsal band) with my late Dad (he wasn't late then, obviously). He was an amazingly good tenor player. Not quite a sibling but I thought I'd add anyway. -

How could I miss out this? -
First off, Beedster is quite right about the impact of delivery and VAT/Duty. Secondly, I have had a number of Fender Japan basses and they have all been excellent. Good choice for buying 'blind'. Similarly, buying second hand will mean you won't lose if/when you sell on to upgrade/give up!! 🙂 But, what is it that leads you to a Precision? My bass of choice, so nothing wrong there but I wonder if your choice is based on looks alone? If you haven't tried one then you may find the neck uncomfortable etc. We are all different so what suits one may not suit all. Ignore me if you have done this but if you have an opportunity to go to a shop and try some different basses (for feel) I would recommend you do that. Find the bass that's comfortable, then come home and browse the classified ads here.

As much about the juxtaposition of the setting as anything else. -

As someone has already said, what a truly great thread this is. -

Double bubble. You get Tina Turner and Robert Cray. Wouldn't automatically think of her for this but this is exceptional and then there's Robert Cray too. -

3 pages in and not this? -
Some interesting stuff. Bernie Marsden and Steeleye Span?
-
The OP isn't, certainly.

Rhonda Smith and Yolanda Charles ... and what was the last bit again?

I think I'd be quite tempted by that mini SVT stack. Not sure what's it's called but it's the smaller head and 2x10 cab. Probably a good sound for indoors and a bit quirky too. I've quite fancied one just for the look. Years ago I had the Marshall mini stack - a head and two 1 x 10 cabs. Think it was 30 watts or so. Not a great sound but looked fun.

What do you want it for? Another house amp or for rehearsing/gigging? That might inform recommendations.
