1. Hello folks, I've decided to let my lovely Schroeder 410 L cab go, mainly due to lack of use these days as I just don't need a cab with this much power for the venues I play. It's in lovely condition, with no real visible imperfections, and comes with the carpet covering as opposed to the tolex / painted finish. It's probably the loudest 4x10 I've ever played through, it can really put out some low bottom end, but remains lovely and punchy. It's an easy one man carry due to its rather compact stature mostly due to the space saved by the side firing speakers. It does NOT come with a cover I'm afraid. I've supplied a link to a file share where you can view some photos of the actual cab. 2. Just bought Nicks Barefaced Two10 cab. Very easy deal, nice guy to buy from and we had good communications all the way through, top fella, buy with confidence.
3. Buy with confidence from Bob, he is a great person to deal with, bought a few bits from him in the past and was looking at this as an option but decided to go head and cab route instead.
4. Could be interested in this and only up the road in Stroud, would a halfway meet up be any good? Cheers Jem
5. Thanks guys for the feedback so far, very helpful
6. Hi there, I'm considering a Fender Mustang short scale, currently play a P Bass and a Jazz, but like the idea of a short scale. I'll be playing funky, soul covers and wondered how the sound, how they handle and will I lose anything playing a short scale. Additionally what do you string it with for the best sound? Cheers Jem
7. Hello Folks, So I've just restored my US Jazz back to its original passive state due to moving it on, so now have a lovely East J Retro surplus to requirements. I've had it a couple of years in my bass and its sounded fantastic. I'm not sure I'm having another Jazz so I'm putting this up for sale. Its the chrome with black knobs version. All the details can be found in the link to Easts site and there is plenty of info out there on the internet about these great pre-amps. http://www.east-uk.c...j-retro-01.html Images of the actual unit can be found here:- https://drive.google...WHc?usp=sharing I'm located in Stroud, gloucestershire if you want to collect, otherwise I can arrange postage no problem. Cheers for looking Jem
8. Ohhhh, lovely, super tempted by this.....
9. Damn, I was in Coventry yesterday and could have picked this up off you as I've been looking for one of these ever since I flogged mine.
10. Nice, really regret selling my DB750 and I am very tempted by this now I'm back playing more regular gigs.
11. Hello there, is that 500w through the internal speaker or do you have to add an extension to get that power?
12. I have owned An Ad200b and both an Obc410 and obc115. Firstly the 410 is a brute to move and primarily the reason I sold it, but it did pack a punch , went plenty loud enough but I found it still had quite a dark character. The 115 was my fave, really good midrange for a 115 that seemed to pair so well with Ad200b which is a bit scooped imho. Easier to move too! No experience of the Ampeg I'm afraid.
13. Do you come anywhere near Stroud on your travels?
14. Could be interested in this, can you post up a piccy please. Cheers Jem
15. Back in the Stroud area any time soon? Jem
16. Hi there, could be interested in these, could you tell me what the width of the cabs are. I'm only down the road in Stroud, and work in Cheltenham. Cheers Jem
17. Hello folks, I have the chance to buy an Orange OR120 non master all valve amp from the 70's. In pretty decent nick too. Anyone have any experience of these beasts as a Bass Amp. How much headroom am I likely to get before break up. Loud enough to gig small pub type venues with P.A support and what type of cab suits this type of amp best? Any general info anyone can give would be really appreciated. Cheers Jem
