1. Hi there, could be interested in these, could you tell me what the width of the cabs are. I'm only down the road in Stroud, and work in Cheltenham. Cheers Jem
2. Hello folks, I have the chance to buy an Orange OR120 non master all valve amp from the 70's. In pretty decent nick too. Anyone have any experience of these beasts as a Bass Amp. How much headroom am I likely to get before break up. Loud enough to gig small pub type venues with P.A support and what type of cab suits this type of amp best? Any general info anyone can give would be really appreciated. Cheers Jem
3.
Oh well worth a try. I've got a friend who lives nearby,i'll see if he is coming up the road any time soon.
No probs, I do travel with work, but not been that far up for a long time.
4. Hmmm, don't really want to post this to be honest. Its a bit too valuable and a little bit heavy, don't fancy it in the hands of couriers
5. Not pushed this post in a while but the DB750 is still here. Cheers Jem
6. Still here folks, why not treat yourself for the new year!
7. Still here bump, might take a cheeky offer but not much below asking price
8. Bump. This up up again, due to finances and space reasons. In fact I don't think its been used since the original post. Cheers Jem
9. Some interest, but this amazing amp is still here.
10. Played this at the weekend, ultra awesome bass sound....made me think...should be keeping this........grab it before I change my mind
11. No love for this silver dream machine. Must be getting near Christmas, pennies are tight
12. Potentially up for sale is my Aguilar DB750 which is in mint condition. This is an awesome amp and probably the best I've owned to date, just an amazing bass tone, plug and play simplicity for me. It comes in a lovely Aguilar Rack bag for easy transportation and protection. I will get some better piccies up soon if there is any interest. I'm located in Stroud, Gloucestershire, if she goes then I'd prefer collection as this is reasonably heavy for postage.
13. Bump - for cheeky price reduction, will not go any lower though
14. Hello, Up for sale is my Genz Benz Streamliner which I purchased from Alan Bass back in the early summer. This is in great condition with no marks or issues what so ever. I've only used it a handful of times so hence the sale, hopefully it will go to a home where it will be used a bit more. This amp has a lovely warm valve tone and can do a great job of mimicking an SVT with the correct eq settings without having to lug around 37kgs of amp. This head is incredibly powerful and running through just one of my DB112 cabs I can gig this in a pretty loud rock band. I'm looking for a sale only on this, but can arrange delivery at extra cost, or collection is welcome from Cheltenham or Stroud in Gloucestershire. Piccies are a bit small (sorry, used yours Alan) but essentially it's as a new Genz Streamliner would look. Will come with a little laptop bag to carry / protect it, the original manual and a power cable. Thanks for looking. 15. I have one, they really are something special, good price too.
16. Any idea on the age of this amp, I believe the newer ones had the loud D.I problem sorted. I owned one of these and the Ad200 loved both, very tempted by this.....
17. Don't do it!!! These are great amps, and this is a bargain price. How come you are getting rid?
18. Played the DB750 on Sat night in a smallish venue and it did kind of pin the audience to the back wall, but the sound is to die for. I used to lug an SVT Classic around so the Aggy feels light in comparison! I think the general verdict is to save and buy a ToneHammer and then have the choice, seems like a plan to me. As for DB750's coming around for sale, definitely getting a rarer sight on this forum, no one wants to sell them, those that do seem to regret it. Decision made, thanks to all who contributed, that's what I love about this forum : )
19. I had one, first one I owned had a problem cutting out, it got sent back to Orange and they replaced it. The new one seemed fine but the bulb did go on that one. Good amps though if you want the signature orange bass sound, very low mids, deep bass. The 500 watter was more than enough for me. Hope you enjoy yours when you get it.
