  4. That is lovely. Pink Floyd springs to mind. GLWTS
  5. Year Of Birth Basses.   1978, what a year!  Otters became protected!

  6. In the last 5 years I've only seen 2 like this for sale. 100% original down to the last screw and in wonderful condition. Amazing neck. Really great growl. 9lbs 10oz in weight so not stupid heavy..... Viewing welcome and recommended. Very collectable bass. Plenty of photos available of all the pots et cetera, on request. Never thought I'd sell this but you all know how it goes sometimes. Any questions or further requests, fire away/ Based in sunny Swindon. SN14LW Anybody welcome to come over and have a play and behold this serious instrument. I'd be happy to take a couple of instalments for the bass, if that helps. Tradewise, I’m gassing for a Rickenbacker....... Happy viewing,

  8. Congratulations to Punkpappa......... back on the scene after 19 years. Thoroughly nice chap.
  9. Thank you Davidson. The closer shots were done with a 50mm lens, f1.4.....
  10. It's badass. Too good to just deliver a bass in, I know.............. If nobody wants it you can have it Skidder.
  11. This is a beautiful, lightweight example of this highly coveted bass. 8.9lbs on the bathroom scales. Nickel stack knob with original control plate included. I bought this from a session bassist and it's set up so nicely. It used to belong to Daveyboyrooster back in the early days. He added the stack knob. I'm sure he wouldn't mind offering a reference if anyone was interested. There is one thing which may niggle some - there is an extra screw hole next to another for the bridge cover. The sale includes the case and delivery. Overseas delivery will be different. The case in not a Fender case but one that came with a P-bass I bought. When I asked the guy "what kind of case is that?" he replied, a s**t one. I think it goes with the bass perfectly. Anyway, as many people know, these are mustard for the money. Even the headstocks are cut slimmer like the old days. Any questions, please ask. I'm in Swindon, SN1 4LW. You're welcome to come and have a play.
  12. Thanks......... quite a few people say that actually.
  13. These have never left the house & I think the boxes for them are in the loft. Very honest, uncoloured sound. Ed Friedland loves them. Bought from Bass Direct and have the receipt. Here's their spec..... http://www.genzbenz.com/?fa=detail&mid=2858&sid=704&cid=96 I'll bung up some more images at the weekend. Collection preferred. Bass test welcomed. I'm in Swindon, SN1 4LW. Cheers guys..... and gals
  14. The cover........... sorry.................
  15. Dude, if I didn't have a Classic Ray already, I'd be all over this baby. What is your dream jazz bass?? Chewie
  16. Hey D-L-B........... GLWTS....... I just bought a pair of DB112's to go with my Shuttle 6.2 and it is a life changer, tonewise. That is a special rig you're selling.
  17. I've got the 6.2 and I will never sell it. I took mine to Bass Direct to test some DB112's and people were cooing over it! Check this out............
