I love TI Jazz Rounds. They are lush. I also love the Newtone round core low tension strings. They are also lush (and cheaper).

I should really consider all I want to say and post it all at once.

The Christopher one is made from the same pattern as the Roth one. I tried wheels once and they are great if you are in a building with a nice flat floor, but otherwise it scared me rigid bouncing my bass along pavements etc.

It is a very long time since I dealt with a Ritter DB bag, but the proportions were way out of whack back then. I cannot speak for them now.

The Roth and Junius one looks to be a direct knock off of my Reunion Blues one which I bought 20 years ago and is still in A1 nick. Obv I cannot vouch for the build quality now, but having studied the pics it seems to be a direct copy.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs. I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded. The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe.... for now. ======================================================================================================= I have decided that I am similar to the dog, just with basses. Unless there is something horrific with the set up then I like every one I try. Every time I pick up one I do not own I think "yep, this would do". I am so shallow.

Ironically I am almost tipping into going into software front ends instead of hardware. I already am sorted for preamps, but it does look nice!

He has just replied to my email and has a 230v one ready to go. I do not need a new pre.

I have scratchplate GAS. This is ridiculous.

The Five string bass has dodgy battery contacts. With some tender loving care it is fine and dandy. A truss rod tweak will make it sweet.
