  3. I'm in saving for a walnut one. Loved it so much when I played it at PMT I vowed one day I'd buy it and threatened to chop the hand off anyone who tried to buy it before me. Has the tone I've deep down wanted ever since I went to buy my first bass all those years ago. It's mine.
  4. Hi guys. Recently took ownership of a macbook from the big brother who had bought it and couldnt get on with MacOS. So, looking to make the most of it by using the plethora of great recording software available on a Mac, such as Garageband and Logic Pro X (which i came to love following Music creation classes back at school). Alls I need is a USB interface and potentially a MIDI Keyboard in the future (will stick to recording vocals, guitar and bass at the minute) to get up and running.Any suggestions for USB Interfaces? I dont care too much for recording multiple tracks at once right now, and will probably need no more than 2 inputs at any given time. Also, any software recommendations or pointers in the direction of making drum loops will be greatly appreciated.
  5. There's dreary moodiness indie rock and there's happy dance indie rock. There is a difference between Peace and Two Door Cinema Club. Don't let BBC Radio 6 (I didn't even know there was a 6) be the indicator of all things indie. Again, before labelling think try harder. Look up The Strokes, Two Door Cinema Club, The Wombats, they are all fairly non dreary.
  6. WITHDRAWN. shoulda took the chance guys

[/quote] ...Fretless with rosewood fingerboard with aftermarket Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders and Ki0gon loom plus Dunlop Straplocks?

  11. Bumpety bump. Make an offer, I can only say no. Trades on Squier J basses will be heavily considered...

  21. if only you'd have said a few weeks ago before bought one once deciding cash Converters were unreliable and no one was selling one...
  22. Thanks for the interest guys. Back to the top... Might be worth mentioning I wouldn't be too disheartened if this didn't sell, but it should be played more than it is with me
  23. I for one quite liked the Ashula I played at the Ibanez event. very nice indeed but definitely not a "thumb around the neck" bass. Think of it as two different instruments and it really isn't difficult to play either.
  24. I have a HB Jazz bass that at first was quite heavy but Andy sorted it out. There's a thread under build diaries about it. I agree. First upgrade would be the electronics. I put a Ki0gon loom in mine and never looked back.
