1. Anyone tried Philip Porter, had a recommendation to try him
2. Use to use Ged Green but he's not done this side for a few years now, also used Dave Lunt but he's expertise are much more on the amp side than the bass side. Want a tweak to all 5 of my Overwaters (Can't do without them long enough to be posting them all the way up to Carlisle and also don't want to post them all the way up to Carlisle) Any advice would be great. Cheers
3. So after years of relying on these devices and having them completely change my view on fx and digital fx it's time to say goodbye. A recent foray into the capabilities of the Ipad has really opened my eyes (and ears) even more so. M13 Had this 2-3 years, my guitarist has mainly been using it the past year or so, been kept in a pedaltrain 2 hardcase all it's life, in great condition. Feet removed and velcro added on the bottom Not much else to say, it's a great unit. Will cover everything you ever need and I'm sad to see it go but end of the day, if I don't use it I sell it £270 M9 Bought this recently as my guitarist was using my M13 all the time, not used outside of a midi controller for my iPad, then got the M13 back both have sat here for a month unused, so it's time to go. It's in full working order and excellent cosmetic condition on the top, the bottom is another story, Velcro has been super glued on there and the feet have been removed, the screws for the feet have not been put back on which means the unit doesn't feel a robust as it should. None of this effects performance and I'm sure you can easily replace the screws (it's still held together by another 4) just thought I'd point it out as the person I bought it from didn't. Would also be tempted by an Apogee Jam and an Airturn but you know, whatever. Open to offers on all of the above and if in doubt on a trade, please ask as I never know what might take my fancy. Cheers and Merry Christmas
4. Its a very nice yet fairly transparent boost, reacting totally different to say a traditional Phat Boost which most other boosts are but again at the same time more range of sounds than an MXR Micro Amp. I believe it can be totally clean with the gain off and the volume cranked that said I've not tried it for ages. Am damn tempted to buy it back though
5. Ah my favourite board size, I assume you don't want to trade up to a PT2?
6. Wrong colour for me but tempted
7. I had 2 mini's one older one with the back lip then the newer one sat infront of it, was very cool. I'm using the Nano at the moment, so small I forgot to take it to practice yesterday
8. Wow PT 3, rare I love the mini too, I need to get me another one
9. Beautiful, I"m just working toward picking an 83/84 fretless Original Bass, so then I'll have 3 in that shape
10. What would it cost to ship the drawer? I know these are super heavy
11. Nice I also love this solo, doubt I'l be able to play it though
12. Hardcase, the other one I have is the newer version with the holes in the back for the voodoo labs and the newer grey case.
13. Sold, But I may have another one up for sale in the next few weeks.
14. Due me just never finding anything I'm happy with I have a Pedaltrain 2 up for sale, it's the older version with the black (slightly lighter) flightcase, the case is covered in stickers. Currently I'm leaning to a few small boards instead of 1 big one and I fancy a collection of PT's and Pelican cases The board is again the older PT2 so it doesn't have the holes in the back for the Voodoo Labs Power Supply, obviously this is only a concern if you're going to use this power supply, in which case you really need to take another look at Diago and Gigrig again Board is a bit tatty and dust but structually solid, with the soft felt velco on the board, no spare velcro will be included in the sale. Pedals not included but they are for sale elsewhere. I'm happy to do part ex for a Pedaltrain Jr HC/SC or a Pedaltrain Mini, maybe a Nano with cash adjustment where required. After £80 collected, post will be like £10-£15 with Parcel Force but I'm sure we can come to a deal, trading though some way or another would be best for me.
15. What's you're price range? I could be open to offer
16. Far as I can tell flat
17. Taking it out of the shop
18. Bump then it goes to ebay
19. OK, so here's the deal this is my first Overwater (but not my oldest) I think it was made around 2005/2006 and was my main bass for a few years, made me sell all my Valenti's and misc other basses. It's a bolt on neck, 5 string, 35 inch scale bass with a maple body, maple neck and I assume something along the lines of rosewood for the fretboard but could be something a bit more exotic being Overwater it's the lightest bass I own, I'll post the weight tonight. The bass largely looks black but it's a trans purple finish, it has one small dent towards the upper horn (I'll get a picture later tonight) about the size of a jack tip (funny that) So I'm after £700 ono for this, now why so cheap, well it doesn't get played I have 4 Overwaters including this and a Rickenbacker and I've managed to find an original shape fretless (I have 2 original shape basses already, it's kinda my thing ). Futher more my band tune ADGCF so a full step down from standard so 2 of my Overwater's are 36 inch scale and again, it's just become my my thing and what I'm comfortable with. So with trying to keep my bass limit down to 5, I figure this is the only one I can let go. So this is your chance to score a real Overwater for less than some of the Aspiration basses. To confirm, there is no case included in the sale of this and I would prefer collection, I'm based in Manchester however the fretless I'm buying is in Reading so I can deliver for free to around this area and kill 2 birds with one stone. Would be tempted to part ex for a Tanglewood Overwater Jazz, as a beater is always nice for when I have to cycle places, but ideally a sale. As stated open to offers
20. OC-2 Sold
21. You have, though it's pending payment so if it falls through I'll let you know, I'm sure it won't though.
